Been using this Animal Hospital for over a year now. Staff are amazing. Super friendly and over and above to help answer questions and offer productive suggestions for treatment options. Prices aren’t over the top. Super clean facility. Can’t say enough good.

This place is awesome. My dog escaped from the house. A lady picked them up a mile away and took him there. The microchip that he had was still in the original owner's name. Heather behind the front desk, call the original owner and then got in contact with a close friend of his got my name looked me up on Facebook I was friends with her son and another friend that she knew of. And then contacted me. Letting me know my dog Toro was there and he was safe. I can't express my gratitude towards these people. And the many steps Heather had taken in order to find me as the owner and contact me through a friend.
Thank you very much Heather!

Great vet. I called them thinking I needed to bring my sick pup in for an emergency visit. They asked me his symptoms, then told me it wasn’t urgent and what to watch for and what to feed him, and to call back in a few days if he was still sick. Their suggestions worked and he healed on his own. They will definitely be our go to vet when we are up here!

Mom's dog ran into a barbed wire fence and cut down to the tendons. She called the vet at 4 and said they could be there 20min to 5 before they closed. Vet refused service because it would take them into after hours. Had to drive to Littleton to get care because they would be inconvenienced caring for an animal in need.....their whole purpose! Deplorable!

THIS IS LONG
I brought my cat in 7/12/24 because she wasn’t eating or pooping. I told them she’s constipated. $620 and 2 hours later the vet Dr Gross rattled off a bunch of terminal things she probably had. Told me to take her home and see if she can eat and poop. Gave me appetite stimulant and a laxative.
On 7/17 I brought her back. Still not eating or pooping. Asked. If they would give her an anemia. Yes. Brought her in. Tech Heather took my cat. Just a few minutes later she brings my cat back. I, never saw or talked the vet, but him or her would not give my cat an anemia. Instead, without discussing it with me, they gave her some fluids and a steroid shot. Why?

7/19/24
** I took my cat to 4paws in Lakewood. I’ve had a relationship with them for 25 years. Upon giving my cat a full exam she showed me 2 of her teeth were very loose. Which was probably one reason she was not eating. She couldn’t eat the laxative and that was why. While my cat was getting an anemia she showed me the X-rays and bloodwork done at Park County.vet. Park County never showed or discussed tests with me. There was someone’s hand on one of the X-rays making it useless. Her calcium was a little high Not extremely high as Park County had said.
My cat pooped and ate at the vets, after they gave her 2 anemias. I brought her home. Planning to bring her back Monday for her teeth.
She was eating and pooping all weekend.
Monday I dropped her off. Because she had poop 4paws could now see little tumors on the x rays they redid She was also running a fever. I let her go later that day 7/22/24

On 7/19 I called Park County Vet asking to speak to the vet that treated my cat. I told receptionist if I didn’t get a call back, I would be leaving a negative review. Well, I never got a call from Dr Gross, however , Dr Jermey harassed 4paws until the vet finally spoke to him after my cat had passed. He told 4paws I was a PAIN. As I said I’ve know them all for 25 years. Does he refer to all of his customers like that ? I hadn’t been to Park County since August of 2023 with my dog, who he said had a blown out knee and need knee surgery. He’s never had it and he’s fine.

** I wanted to discuss the things that were missed and not done for my cat at Park County. What they did made her worse. Yes, she died, but if she’d had different care from the beginning, she would have definitely been more comfortable and might have lived a little longer. What 4paws did for her enabled her to eat and poop and interact with myself and the dogs all weekend . I will be forever grateful to 4Paws for giving me that time with my cat. She was loving and purring. Something she hadn’t done in weeks.

After Dr Jermey found out my cat passed , he sent me an email saying basically we told you she was going to die, and you can never come back here because you threaten to post a negative review. Dr Jeremy did not exam my cat, and he has never met her. He said he got records from 4 Paws which is a lie. He got a picture. I gave 4paws permission to open her up before cremation. There were tiny tumors on her liver. Dr Jeremy said she had cancer. That’s another lie because no pathology was done. .

After spending over $700 at Park County Vet on my cat, you would think Dr Gross would give me the courtesy to call and discuss my cat with her.

If I had gotten that phone call from Dr Gross, I would not be writing this review. I was devastated that my cat had become so ill so quickly. There is no compassion at Park County.

I never told anyone to call 4paws. Dr Jeremy harassed the girls that answer the phone until he finally talked to the vet. Why did you do that Dr Jeremy? That was so unprofessional and was blatant harassment. As I said above, the vet called me and told me everything you said. She never planned on speaking to you. There was no reason for her to talk to you. . I was the one who wanted a call. You upset her staff so much she had no choice.

The phone call should have been to me from Dr Gross You had no business calling.

This is the second time I have had a negative interaction at this vet with my pup. They performed surgery on my pup 9 days ago. Yesterday morning I found the incision was open and draining fluid. I called the vet clinic to tell them about the new problem and the receptionist was rude and disrespectful to me about how I was managing the open wound. Dr. Jeremy was reported to be in surgery all day yesterday and I was informed that he would not accommodate my pup for an emergency repair of her open incision. The office staff told me to go to another vet. I did! And found that she already had an infection and needed that to be treated to prevent sepsis. The other vet took her in directly to surgery and repaired the incision and treated the infection. I recognize things can happen but the fact that this was the second time they refused follow up for my sick pup. I will not be going back.

To be clear, the techs have always been great, it is my experience, the vet doesn’t want to maintain a relationship with his patients and provide necessary follow up to care he started.
