I had an amazing experience here today. We have just recently moved into the area and havent established a vet yet. I called this place in distress as my dog had gotten into something and was throwing up multiple times, and drooling a lot and just seemed very unwell. I was crying hysterically on the phone (obviously because thats my baby!!) and they took her in to check her out. They were very sweet and reassuring towards me and the doctor was very sweet. He took his time and ran bloodwork and ultrasound and gave her fluid and nausea medicine and that all really helped her. I was able to take her home and she has been doing much better. I am so thankful for this place for caring for my dog with kindness when i had no idea what was going on, despite my panic mode and probably messing with other appointments they had that day. All of the staff was friendly and wonderful and it was a very clean facility! Thank you so much.

My cat, Mr Quill, suffered from a stroke and kidney problems, so we had to release him from his misery. The staff, could not be more awesome and caring, waked as through the procedure, and it was heartbreaking , but done so humanely, they took such good care of him, and us. I can never repay them for such kindness.

After reading great reviews for Parkway Animal Hospital on Next door I decided to take my newly adopted pup to them thinking it would be a great experience. It was not. When I arrived we waited in the lobby for probably 15 minutes, no big deal to me. The doctor came in and first of all didn't introduce himself to me (whatever it's fine), then tells me he is fresh out of vet school (not a big deal, they all have to get experience), throughout the appointment the doctor and vet tech had conflicting opinions on most of my questions, I never received answers to my questions. I asked about ordering my heartworm and flea prevention online and asked if they would approve it since I had records from the SPCA of a recent heartworm test. They said yes, never mentioned a fee. I ordered my pups heartworm and flea prevention online a few weeks after the appointment....Parkway Animal Hospital charges you $5 per prescription to get it approved if it doesn't come from their pharmacy! Seems like they would care more about making sure our pets are protected from deadly diseases than making a few dollars. Imagine if human doctors dictated where we get our life saving medications from.

I worked at a vet hospital for several years (I don't disclose this information at my appointments so the vet will be thorough in providing me with information) so I am pretty forgiving on some of the issues I encountered however, I will never take my pup back there! The vet and vet tech conflicting one another in front of a client is unacceptable, and out of line in my opinion. The corporate feel to this vet, and the Rx fees is all I need to know about this place.
