Beautiful historic playhouse with the highest quality performances. I saw, “One of the Good Ones” which I HIGHLY recommend. A brilliant and poignant comedy in the storytelling style of Norman Lear - covering sensitive cultural and family dynamics in a meaningful and comedic way.
The playhouse is gorgeous, the seats are comfortable. There is limited concessions offered outside, and limited lobby space for gathering before the show. I didn’t see a gift shop. Parking is easy and right across the street. There was a special “Event Parking” price of $5 for the matinee performance I attended. Overall, a stellar experience and I highly recommend this beautiful theater. The only downside is that I’m short, and the seating is almost level, so I had to try to see around the head in front of me for most of the performance. But I would definitely return and bring a cushion to sit on.

The Pasdena Playhouse is a historic building playing homage to the legacy of the arts in Southern California/Los Angeles. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Small intimate and charming. A flash back to years gone by. There are plenty of eateries around the Playhouse and a pop up bar usually shows up pre show.

Beautiful! Classy! This theater is a staple for Los Angeles! We attended a live performance of Jelly's Last Jam and were not disappointed! I had been looking forward to this for months! The acoustics are wonderful! The stage was easily visible from the "J" row where we were seated. We stayed at our local hotel and took an Uber. The lobby attendants and ushers were efficient, professional, and still friendly! So thankful that we made the trip from Southwest LA!
We will definitely be frequenting here for additional performances!

This is such a great venue. They have really good shows. The only problem for me is I live in West Hollywood and so it is a very significant trek to get out there. But they do a really terrific job.

We had the opportunity to watch Kate Berlant perform at the playhouse, and we had an amazing time. It's a really cool piece of history. The theater is nice and small, there didn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. The employees were all nice and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We are looking forward to attending future shows at this theater.
