Pat's is as good as it gets, if not the best BBQ that you'll find in Southern Illinois. Their pulled pork is incredibly juicy and tender. The pork steak sandwich is fantastic as well. All of their sides are smoked...the best being the Mac n cheese and green beans. And to cap it all off, those signature baked beans! I'd recommend this cozy little spot to anyone looking for BBQ in the Murphysboro area.

I had the pulled pork plate with green beans and coleslaw...which was a vinegar recipe..and the entire meal was delicious. I loved their pig Christmas themed tree too. The community is known for Barbeque...and this one is worth the stop too...plenty of BBQ trophies in the entrance to support my opinion! And they cater!!

Absolutely delicious! Love the nachos with brisket. The smell of the food is intoxicating. I have yet to make it on a Friday to try out the brisket tacos, but they are on my list. They have great sandwiches and sides as well. The brisket is tender, flavorful, and just pulls apart so easily. If you are local, or visiting wine country, you NEED to try Pat's. You will not be disappointed.

Very casual, the food was great, and the owner continually checked on us and played with our son (and as an aside, we felt it was very child-friendly with their menu). We traveled from Springfield, Illinois (3hrs away) and do it often for BBQ in various places across the country. It was worth the drive. I had the brisket, mac n cheese, and pit beans. They have house-made sauces on the table (a mild vinegar base that is a very nice departure from the same ole over the top sweet). I definitely recommend.

We just had lunch from Pat's for a Drs office and the food was Awesome! We will definitely use Pat's again for our lunches!

Best BBQ in southern Illinois. A little off the beaten track, but well worth an extra drive. Juicy, moist ribs are cooked to perfection. Even the sides are delicious. There is a reason why Pat won Memphis in May. Other BBQ joints might be more famous, none of them have better food.
