I took my pup for a wash here. I normally take her closer to home but wanted to give this place a try. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened on a Thursday. I walked in, no customers yet and I was not greeted nor did I see anyone. I walked toward the back of the store and saw a young gal sitting on the floor stocking. She still did not acknowledge me. I said, "Hello, I am here for a dog wash." She did not look up, she just said, "go ahead it is in the back." I was unfamiliar with their dog wash but I proceeded back and found it. I put my pup in the basin, grabbed the sprayer and noticed it was covered with hair as was the hose (photo). I used the towel they had there and cleaned both off. The basin also had hair around it. I cleaned that as well. Then I proceeded to turn the water on. It would not go on. I tried and looked for turn on valves. I finally went to get the gal and asked for help. She was not happy with the interruption. She came back and said, "it's not hard" and proceeded to turn on the water, when it did not come on she adjusted a couple of valves between the tubs and walked out. I washed my pup and to be honest the shampoo and conditioner were like water, I was left with one towel to dry, which is what I used to clean the basin, hose and sprayer so I shook it out and used it so I would not have to "bother" her again. I was not happy with this service and that is disappointing as Bob (the owner) is AMAZING! I have known him for at least 6-7 years and he takes a lot of pride in his stores and his customers. I live far north and will continue to use the pet wash by me.

The dog wash station is great! Much cleaner and much nicer soaps than any of the other self wash stations I’ve been to. And they have great treats

All kinds of shampoos and conditioners available to use, brushes, towels and awesome aprons to keep yourself dry! Only $18 I think it was! We will be back

One of the best self serve dog washes I've used. Very clean, great shampoo options and most importantly a high powered dryer for my bernedoodle. The grooming table for the dryer was also a big plus and made it a lot easier for me. The staff was also extremely friendly. Only tip is to call ahead to make an appt for the wash!

One of the best places to get pet food, treats, toys, and supplies! Don't let the size of the store fool you, they have more than you could ever want for your pets, we always get our cats raw food, specialized treats, and toys here, and my girls love everything we get. The staff is always kind and welcoming and ready to assist you whenever you need help too!

I was running some errands in Arvada and stumbled upon this store. All I have to say is that the girl that was there today is very knowledgeable and very kind. I would definitely recommend buying at this store. She answered a lot of my questions and concerns I had. Thank you paws n play for being great towards your customers.

I have shopped at this store for many years. I have had some difficulty lately getting the product I normally buy without having to make extra trips.
Last time someone promised to get me a bag in the morning and bring it over. I waited all day to get the product. It finally arrived at almost 5 pm. That isn’t morning.
The “chain” store down the street does not carry my brand. I have bought the same item once a month for the last nine plus years. Now you aren’t carrying it at this location in a size I carry (40 lbs was all you had).
I would rather support local business, but if you are not going to carry what I need without having to make multiple trips, then I will have to look into other options for my pet supplies.
