It's exactly how I remembered it from 12 years ago! I took my son for the first time this year. The parking was terrible, and I would have expected some updated booths/attractions, especially with how busy it was. However, overall it was a decent experience and my son had a blast.

I found the buildings nice and cool in this August heat. They were clean and most buildings had a. Sign on them indicating what was found on the inside. The show cases were free of finger prints .The restrooms were tidy clean and toilet paper was full.The vender areas were roomy with plenty of room to walk around seeing their displays. The food court was clean and tidy and tables clear of garbage as was the grounds around them. The areas behind the food kitchens were nice and clean. The animals had clean stall areas around the individual stalls.The various seating areas where people view the different animal shows and judging were clean and the area around them free of debris as well the bleachers were clean. The gates were open and and provided easy entrance. All fair goers appeared to be having a fun filled time at the 2021 Payette County Fair held in New Plymouth, Idaho August 4 -8

First time here and we had an enjoyable experience. We came to watch the 4H animals and the kids that care for them, show their love for their pets in some cases. They did not disappoint. Great day today.

Was a lot of fun. Make sure you bring cash though because not all vendors except card payments. Unless you don't mind the ATM fee because they do have an ATM there that you can pull cash out. The flies can be pretty horrible but that can't be helped much since it's outside. Will definitely return next year.

We met up with my husband and sister-in-law for the Jack Russell trials . They are originally from California and we came from Utah.
We had a fantastic time. The whole area in Payette was lovely and so much greener than where we're from.
I met with some of those that were helping set up and run the dog trials and they were so lovely, friendly , approachable and made it so fun. They worked so hard to make each of the events of the trials run as smoothly as possible. My husband and I have never attended a dog trial before, like my inlaws have, but because of the volunteers there it made our experience great. We.thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The area is quite beautiful. Thank you

The dance area that was set up for a recital was great. The R&R dance team came to perform from Fruitland. The bleachers we were to sit on were so gross! They were sticky and dirty and had dried bird droppings. At least hose them down and wiped down.
