Attentive care, excellent facilities, only issue is occasional discrepancies in horses being fed the bags of grain I prepare. As one who does my own training, I appreciated the arena options, proximity to trails, and tack rooms. I tend to stick to myself and was able to do my own thing and work around lessons with no issue. Only left due to job move 4 hours north.

Our experience at Peck Farm was incredibly disappointing. We had scheduled an appointment in advance, but when we arrived, My daughter was made to wait for over an hour in the cold without any explanation or greeting to then only to find out that the appointment was never going to happen at all after the waiting she gave up and called me to pick her up to scared to confront Nance and ask about her lesson. It felt unprofessional and disrespectful of our time considering i left work early to drop her off. Nance, who runs the farm, also seems to struggle with handling children, which was a concern as i was there with a young child. Her approach wasn't very welcoming or accommodating, and it added to the frustration.

To make matters worse, nance has dogs that act almost as if they are wild, they are never on leash and at one point when my daughter was waiting for her none existent lesson saw These dogs would regularly charge into the riding area, scaring the horses and creating a dangerous situation for everyone. THANKFULLY Nance had just swapped places with a student almost seconds before and she wasthe one on the horse, i couldn’t imagine what would have happened if that was my child on the horse, It’s concerning that the safety of riders and horses wasn’t a priority.

Overall, it was an upsetting experience, and I wouldn’t recommend Peck Farm to anyone. The lack of professionalism, the poor treatment of children, and the safety issues with the animals made it a very unpleasant visit. EDIT: Nance saying she acknowledges every students present is not true and shows how dishonest she is, as well as the statement about her dogs. Her dogs make a dangerous environment not just for the student but for the horses. In one of the photos attached you can see the messages between my daughter and I, and the other photo as proof for the first and last time my daughter rode at peck farm (she said we we never clients)

I've had my horse at Peck Farm for nearly 4 years.
Nance is the consummate professional. She is an incredible trainer. She addresses any problems immediately, she loves horses.
I would never board my horse anywhere else!
She has NEVER treated a horse in any way other than respectfully.
If there are persons who have issues, I would venture to say it is the complainant one must look at, rather than the owner of the farm.

My 9 year old daughter loves horses, so I had been looking for high quality riding lessons for her for some time. I asked around and scoured the internet, but was underwhelmed with my options, particularly with the responsiveness of other businesses.

Nancy at Peck Farms was recommended to me by a gentleman whose daughter was taking lessons with Nancy. My daughter has been taking weekly lessons with Nancy for 4 months now, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. My daughter is learning at an accelerated pace, thanks to the expertise and effort exerted by Nancy.

If your child loves horses, or is even interested in riding one, I highly recommend Nancy at Peck Farms. Nancy's love for horses and children has been evident from day 1. The horses at Peck Farms appear healthy, happy and well taken care of. My daughter loves her weekly lesson; thank you Nancy and Peck Farms!

Nance is such an amazing trainer to work with. Great personality, sense of humor, and an amazing eye for equitation. I love boarding and riding my horse here. I have learned so much from her and was able to earn ribbons at my first show! If you are looking for a new boarding facility or trainer this is the place to be. I recommend this riding facility to anyone that has any interest in riding and wants to learn from the best!

I started lessons a couple months ago with Mrs. Peck. I knew from the first lesson this was the place for me. Mrs. Peck has such a great way of teaching you, she constantly gives you little reminders, (i.e feet down, how to position your hands), that are kind of tricky to keep track of everything when you first start riding, so it’s super helpful. She also lets me know when I’m doing the right thing and is very encouraging. She truly cares that you are learning to do things the correct way, ensuring safety of rider and horses. She has a true passion and love of horses; which is such a fun environment to be in. Her stables are clean and the horses are well looked after and loved. She goes above and beyond and I can not recommend her enough.

We started with summer camp with Mrs. Peck, then transitioned into private lessons and my daughter loves it. Mrs. Peck has taught her so much and is great at it. She is very knowledgeable and you can see the love she has for teaching.
