So goooooood, this place has a nice small feel and the food is amazing and affordable. Breakfast is great as well. We will definitely be back as frequently as we can.

My wife and I travel from Athens to Savannah at least once a year, and somehow we find ourselves in Wrens as a halfway point. We normally get here early enough for breakfast, but since it was a Friday evening, we decided to try dinner here. The staff are wonderful as always (It's so cute watching everyone interact with the staff, since everyone knows each other) and that chicken was AWESOMEE!! Normally it's hard to nail chicken breast because it dries out fast, but the breast was M O I S T. For a half chicken and a BLT with fries totaled $16, so not bad at all!

My 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren ate here on December 28, on our way from South Georgia to South Carolina, and this was the best country restaurant food we have ever had!!! The fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, black eyed peas, lima beans, and sweet potatoes were excellent. They have a small cafeteria, so you can get your food quickly, and see what it is before you get it. Earlier on our trip it took 2 hours to eat at 2 other restaurants, but not here! The restaurant appears unassuming on the outside, because it was apparently originally a gas station, but the interior had very nice tables and decor. The people working there were friendly and good natured. We ate at 3:30 PM on a Saturday, and even then, there were 4 or 5 tables of well to do, probably local people also eating. There is not much parking directly at the restaurant, but plenty of parallel parking around the street corner. If you like good country food, eat here sometime!

Een unieke ervaring om gezellig Amerikaans te ontbijten in een restaurant wat niet in een toeristisch gebied ligt. Fantastische mensen die niet allen verbaasd waren dat er gasten uit Nederland op bezoek waren maar ook reuze geïnteresseerd in ons! Ik zou bijna vergeten dat het eten ook heerlijk was en alles super schoon. Zou hier graag nog een keer langsgaan.

Delicious southern cooking. You can order off the menu or they’ll fix you a plate at the hot bar. A “small” plate was two pieces of meat and two sides plus a bread (biscuit or cornbread). My teenage son said, “That was the best roadside meal ever!”

They never stop working, constantly refilling the ? HOT bar. Expect to wait in line out the door ? if you to order from the hot bar that starts at 11 am sharp. Fried chicken ? is off the chain, pork chops ?, turkey ?, stuffing, macaroni and cheese, field peas ?, sweet potatoes, rice ?, gravy greens, homemade corn ? bread, homemade biscuits, butter beans, and chicken and dumplings, and more.
