Very pleasing to look at. As a Piedmont I expect the medical service to be very good. That being said, they either are stupid, don't care, or wish to see disabled folks suffer. The handicap parking is a great distance to the main entrance. There are regular spaces closer than some of the handicap spaces. Not enough handicap spaces - came at 7:55AM on a Saturday and they were all taken. But it sure is pretty.Be sure to bring your cane, walker, or other mobility device.
To continue, all the waiting area furniture is very low. Also handicap unfriendly.
I have identified more exterior space that would be appropriate for handicap parking.
Amazes me how tone deaf and blind the administration is to handicapped people.
You would think a hospital (which I assume gets more handicap visitors/patients than almost all other businesses would be more attentive to the disabled.

This is for my experience with labor and delivery. My husband and I ended up having to be here for 2.5 days in total and we had a lovely experience. The labor and delivery staff were so friendly and great. They listened to all my concerns and were responsive to any questions I may have had.

Post-delivery was also great. I was genuinely surprised how many people checked on us from different departments to make sure baby and I were doing well.

Upon arrival, I felt unwell and sought medical support. However, I encountered responses from both the nurse and the attending doctor that left me feeling judged, unsupported, and uncomfortable in my vulnerable state.

Specifically, the nurse questioned why I came to the hospital if I was not willing to take pain medication. Her tone and phrasing seemed dismissive and made me feel as though my choice regarding pain management was invalid. When I shared this experience with the doctor, rather than addressing the concern, she seemed dismissive. Her demeanor left me feeling as if I was being “sized up” rather than being seen and treated as a patient in need of care.

This experience has impacted my trust in the quality of care and the compassionate treatment I expected at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. I hope you will address these concerns so that future patients feel respected and supported in their care choices.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I would appreciate any updates regarding follow-up actions to improve patient experiences.

Just left the ER on Christmas night. The only saving grace for the evening was the nurse in the ER, Amanda you're a SUPERHERO. Thank you for your patience, your care and your sense of humor.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!
Worst medical experience I have ever had.

I left work a couple afternoons ago due to chest pain and difficulty breathing under no intense physical strain. I was 22 weeks pregnant at the time I visited this hospital, and immediately made the front desk lady im the ER aware of that, along with telling her I was having trouble breathing and was told by my OB to come to the ER.
I was called back from the waiting room 4 different times for different testing and sent back out to wait in the waiting room each time. I was not given priority, or a labor and delivery room to be able to speak with an OB.
I was called back for an xray that I denied because I did not want unnecessary radiation as I’m pregnant.
I told the Nurse who took my blood, AND the doctor who reviewed my chart with me for my OB, that I am aware of a blood clot I have in my placenta and was not sure if that might be affecting my breathing. The doctor insisted several times and convinced me to get an x ray I did not want….. come to find out the DOCTOR put down that my primary complaint was a blood clot I believed was in my lung, which I never said. So I received an unnecessary x ray because of his mistake. Yet I still sat in the waiting room for a total of 4 and a half hours waiting to be put into a room just to be told I need to start walking more and my chest pains would be normal. The doctor even laughed at me when I told him I was concerned about being winded while sitting down and said “well yeah, you’re pregnant you’re gonna be winded” and laughed again.
I felt very ignored, invalidated, and mistreated. And if something were to happen to me or my baby because of their ignorance they would be extremely sorry.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!

I am specifically giving a review for nurse Amber on the 7th floor of Piedmont Newnan hospital. Amber has been amazing during my hospital stay! She is attentive, caring, kind, and everything you would expect a good nurse to be. She is quick to answer questions and offer helpful information. Nurses should always have a heart of mercy, and Amber certainly does! I'm so grateful to her for her wonderful care and I pray she stays at Piedmont Newnan for a very long time.

Overall, the ER did its job and I felt comfortable with the care. However the billing side of things and the way they acted while trying to collect money from services when it had only been in the 30-60 day range was ridiculous. I felt bullied and under the impression that ER billing’s could be sent to collections. Not a fan of that at all
