Such a great gift for our region, offering a wide variety of entertainment for all ages. Even opportunities for different levels of talent to participate. I love the small theater and feeling like you are a part of the production. Every seat is a great seat!

My visit to Playhouse in the Park was my first ever visit to the theater, and I loved it. The cast and crew did an amazing job bringing Jekyll and Hyde to life in this musical. R. Wayne Shields-Hogue (pictured with me below) did a phenomenal job playing Jekyll and Hyde. Mallory Walls, who played Lucy, had a voice that was so powerful it gave me goose bumps! This is definitely a stop you should make if you are visiting Murray and a show is scheduled.

Elf Jr.
I so enjoyed the last presentation at Playhouse In The Park of Elf Jr. today
12/18. I sat on the front row and sang along with the singers (Softly). It was very funny at times, sad at times and celebratory at times. The ending was great. I left with a smile. I commend these actor/singers - they all did a great job, even during the technical problems. I must say, I would love to join in the fun doing their jobs. Our city is so fortunate to have such a great artistic theatre as this. I pray that you will join me in supporting our great “Playhouse In The Park”. ❤️🙏🎄🥰

I have been here multiple times to see productions. The theater is clean. Tickets are reasonably priced, and easy to order online. Lisa, who runs the theater is very friendly. The environment of this place always brings me back to support local arts. The Sunday afternoon matinees are a perfect way to kill time other than an after church nap. Many great memories have been made here. I can’t wait to see what other shows Playhouse puts on in the future.

Was at a Soup Bowl fundraiser on the porch. Didn't go inside.

Went to a play. The steps inside were very accommodating for my walker. Seats and bathroom were very nice. Great place for entertainment.

Empty Soup Bowl fundraiser for Needline. Great selection of soup bowls and empty bowls to take home. Bathroom was available for those who needed it. Also had some nice background music.

Saw Anne of Green Gables, quite impressed with the acting and writing. It was Family friendly atmosphere. Although my seat was in the corner I had no problem seeing the entire performance without missing a detail. Thanks to Playhouse in the Park for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended.
