We had brunch here the other day and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and the space inviting. I would have given 5 stars for service, but it seems a little hurried and lax (server forgot our sides). The biscuits were champ, as well as the peanut hummus. Everyone enjoyed their meal, so what else could you ask for? Definitely worth going.

This was our favorite meal on Amelia Island. Each dish was flavorful and the price point was fair. We were seated for our reservation right away. Our waiter was FANTASTIC! He swooped in and filled our drinks without us even noticing. The environment was romantic and quiet. We even brought our kids and they enjoyed it as well! There wasn’t a crumb left on any plate! Kudos to this lovely restaurant!

The food here is FANTASTIC. We got the burata and grilled octopus to share and both were excellent. The salmon was a star dish as well - the potatoes and cream sauce were to die for. Drinks, especially the espresso martinis, were great as well.

Service however, left a lot to be desired. Our server was inattentive and took 25 minutes to take our food orders after giving us our drinks. The hostess and other servers we encountered were lovely, so this seems to be an isolated case of bad service.

Overall, would highly recommend!

This restaurant is truly outstanding. Every aspect was a joy to experience. Their dishes are creative without being pretentious. Everything we ate was delicious, beautiful and art on a plate. The chef here is at the top of his craft. The service was also top notch - team-oriented, helpful, and each person took time to check on me while waiting for my husband. One of the finest dining experiences of my life. Do not miss this one.

Superb!
My husband and I came for new years eve dinner for a closed menu service and we were very pleased and impressed with the quality of Pogo’s.
We are vegetarians (so we normally struggle for find options), however, they had 1 option vegetarian for each course and were also very accommodating to our requests.
The food was divine!
I Loved the creative combination of flavors and textures.
I absolutely recommend it!

The food and ambience were both amazing. Our server (Ansley) went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of excellent. It was a 5-star experience until the end of the evening. We had a 7:45pm reservation and ordered a bottle of wine. At 9:15pm, the bartender rudely approached us and asked if she could take our wine glasses, telling us that they were closed and that we needed to leave. Our glasses still had wine in them. She ruined the experience at Pogo’s for us. Why allow patrons to make a reservation at 7:45pm and order a bottle of wine, but expect them to be finished by 9pm? The bartender needs a better attitude or needs to be replaced, and the experience would be deserving of 5 stars.

All in all, I had a very lovely evening at this more upscale restaurant. The atmosphere was nice and inviting.

We ordered the charcuterie board and the grilled octopus as our appetizers. Unfortunately, we thought that the octopus was far too chewy and not flavorful enough. Also, the charcuterie board was "skimpy" to say the least.... We were expecting more meat than four of the most thinly sliced salami pieces.

However, our entrees were much better. Especially delicious was the pappardelle! It's the perfect portion size, in my opinion.

Our server was friendly as well. If you order the right things it's a really good deal and experience.
