The Woodlands Auditorium is a treasure of Hot Springs Village currently presenting A Christmas Carol - A New Musical, a very enjoyable play which runs through Sunday. You will not want to miss it.

This facility is nice enough and adequate. However, outsiders are really not welcome. This exists for the benefit of those in the gated community. When we arrived at security they didn't even say hello how can I help you? She just stood there silent. We finally had to ask what we needed to do? I think we were the first to inform her of a show that night. It was obvious to me when we exited the show that few to perhaps nobody else came in from the outside. I wish I had known before traveling from Kansas City. Overall it felt awkward.

We went to see the Wizard of Oz here at the Ponce De Leon Center. The show was outstanding!! This facility has lots of room for seating and your knees don't feel cramped against the back of someone's chair.

I had my Wedding reception in the Ponce De Leon Porte Cache. If I could do it again I would rather have no reception than support this company with my money.
I was very disappointed when I went to pay the fees and they tried to charge me DOUBLE what they promised me.
The receptionist, Valerie, was not professional when discussing the mistakes they made on the cost of renting this facility. She spoke rudely to me and had very poor costumer service.

When looking at this venue there were many specific questions I asked to make sure it was in my budget and supplied my needs. They had all the answers I was looking for in our personal meeting.
Unfortunately, by the time it came to pay, their word meant absolutely nothing, and they tried to charge me for every single thing I asked about in the personal meeting.(table clothes, decorating early that day, and hanging lights that I bought for decoration)
After an hour of conversation they took off the cost of hanging lights up and decorating early, but put me in a terrible position to either pay them money for tablecloths, or have none at all. THE DAY BEFORE MY WEDDING. Even though as a company they had already promised them to me with no extra cost!
I was shocked, and strongly disappointed in their customer service.

This fantastic 640 seat theater serves as the cultural heart of the largest, private gated community in the U.S. The covered portico entrance not only welcomes each visitor to the theater's many live entertainment offerings, but it also serves as a location for special pre-show gatherings and hosted activities. And on the other side of the portico from the theater sits the Ouachita Room complex, which hosts a stream of meetings, club activities, bridge tournaments, and other similar events. The Woodlands Auditorium and the complex it represents is truly one of the jewels of Hot Springs Village.
