Food was a bit overcooked and the wraps were mainly tortilla. The service was great and the atmosphere was good, but the food was subpar and honestly, you’re probably better off going elsewhere for the prices being charged. Potato Skins, California Wrap with Chips shown

Excellent place to stop for a bite and soak in this little city on the river. Got the smoked turkey sandwich, baked potato skins and a side salad. Delicious. The only thing on the turkey sandwich could have had a little more of the smoked turkey on it. Kinda thin. The atmosphere is amazing. No live music while I was there, but they have a great set up for it!

Pulled pork sandwich was good and delicious too, a bit light on the smoked flavor. We ordered the onion peddles and they were very good and tasty.
Our waitress was, Lacey and she was a diamond in the rough, as she helped us with good choices and never let our drinks run dry.
I have never seen a used keg for a urinal before and now I can say I have seen it all.

We will try a few other eateries during this trip and read my reviews on these.

Amazing place to eat! We have eaten here twice. It was my 62nd birthday and all the food they brought was perfect! The sweet potato fries were thicker and had good sweet potato on the inside! Amazing! Every time we go to Patoka lake we come down 37 and eat at this restaurant because it’s well worth the trip. Then we drive back to Evansville afterwards.
Three years later, 2024 this place has changed hands. We now live up in this area and we go to town at least once a week. The quality and the service has went way downhill. We do not consider this restaurant on our list anymore since it has changed hands some of the stuff we really liked was deleted from the menu .

We really enjoyed ourselves at this veteran owned bar, the live band was great. The owner went out of his way to make it a nice night.

We would go back even if it is an hour drive both ways.

A huge shout out to The Pour House for the service they gave to Branchville Correctional Facility. Out of all the fund raisers in the in the last 4 years they have done for the Inmates this one by far has been the BEST. Everyone raved about the food.They look forward to the next fund raiser in the near future with Pour House. The food and the quantity is above any one else. Dont change a thing Mr. Cronin. This is a must when you are looking for good food you won't regret eating here.
