Do not ever bring your dogs here to be groomed. I only brought my 2 dogs twice and now one of my dogs has a ruptured anal gland from them not being emptied. She’s being treated by another vet in a completely different city because they apparently couldn’t even be bothered to see us today regardless of it bleeding and oozing pus. I’ve been getting my dog groomed every 4 weeks for a few years now and never once had a place be this bad with my dogs. I’ve been to many groomers around the country, due to my husbands work schedule, and this is by far the worst one. Definitely do NOT recommend.

Called on the 21st about 1am. I spoke to a lady about the situation. The situation was that my sister's 15 year old dog passed away and her intentions were to have her cremated. I spoke to someone and she clearly said IF the doctor deemed it an emergency she would call me back. A week later no call back, so I guess I was stupid to think it was an emergency or important enough to them.

Save yourself the trouble from Liberal Animal "Hospital" too, they're also not concerned with your pet family's lifeless body unless it's during business hours.

Dr. Mitchell was incredible to us. She took care of everything within the hour, she called back within 3 minutes of my voicemail. She was very caring and calming and didn't discuss payment until I brought it up. Dr. Mitchell's concern was having her little body taken care of after she passed away. My sister received her dog's remains within 3-4 days.

Don't settle for terrible service just because you live in a small town. Guymon isn't that far from Liberal so save yourself the headache and heartache and go straight to where your pets will be appropriately treated, no matter the time.

As many can relate, my pets are my world, and I trust no one with them more than Dr. Norman. I’ve used Dr. Norman for a number of years now. I lived out-of-state for 3 years for school, but refused to take my pets anywhere else and would schedule vet appointments around my visits home, just so they could go to Prairie Pet. Dr. Norman takes the time to thoroughly investigate any issues that may arise and is wonderful at explaining what is going on and how best to proceed. I’ve also used their boarding service and would highly recommend boarding your pets here. I always have and will continue to recommend Prairie Pet! We are so fortunate to have Dr. Norman and her staff in our area!

I’m very disappointed! I have had 2 different times where a dog has been hit in front of my house and I have taken them to get care and was not seen because of either busy or the pet has not been there before. I even offered to pay emergency fees but was told no. What ever happened to caring and compassionate care in emergency situations!?! Very sad when I had to drive to Hugoton and the poor puppy had to struggle all of the way there just to be put down.

I recently had to have my cat of 17 years put down. They were able to accommodate me that day, within 2 hours of my call. The ladies in the mobile van were very kind. I truly appreciate their compassion and care they showed my pet in her last moments.

Dr. Norman is not only compassionate towards her clients and their owners, she is also very thorough and accommodating. She took such good care of our little diabetic kitty to the end and came to our home more than once to care for her. She cares about the financial burden to pet parents and does everything she can to provide quality care at affordable rates. We appreciate Dr. Norman and her staff so very much!!!
