We enjoy going to various small theaters. It's definitely a "community" of people that do most of the organizing, planning etc. Sat next to a gentleman that explained the history of the playhouse. We saw Always a Bridesmaid.

I rented the front room of the Prarie Players Civic Theatre for my graduation party on Saturday. It was a perfect venue and we had a very good time, as well as the staff being very helpful when it came to renting it. Overall, I would recommend renting it for your event!

my friend and I were here for the annual chocolate festival...everyone was friendly, and there was someone describing the history of galesburg, as we tried our samples, which was appreciated and interesting. lots of different kinds of things to sample, a chocolate lover's dream!!!

It's a great little theater I hope that in the future they fix the chair so that it's easier to see what's going on down at the front of the stage
