This was a really nice venue for a concert by a smaller artist. There is security on site, the seating is incredibly comfortable, and it sounds really good in the space. We saw a lot of season-ticket holders in attendance, which is a reflection of the quality service and treatment they receive. All of this provided a great experience that I would love to enjoy again, one day.

I came from out of town to visit family and I was pleasantly surprised when visiting this venue! I tend to look for interesting things to do when I go into a new area and on this particular day, I suggested to my husband and friend that we go to an art exhibit. The Kentucky watercolor Society was presenting an exhibit and I was excited to view the art.

Let me start by saying, I wish more locals and visitors took advantage of the wonderful resource available here. From my understanding there are different shows such as musicals and plays but just seeing art for free is a win-win situation. You haven't lost money, just use a little of your time and who knows what wonderful experience you may have!

The Preston Arts Center is located on the scenic 100 acre campus three miles from downtown Henderson. Once inside, I could see it was well appointed, beautifully decorated, and clean. We also had the pleasure of meeting the director, who is also an artist herself. I'm including a picture of one of her spectacular art pieces (decorated guitar called Sparkling Strains)...

Stacey Howell was welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'm hoping to visit the center again for either art exhibits or some live entertaining performance like the Hiplet Ballet which fuses Hip Hop, jazz, and ballet or the Cirque Zuma Zuma. Either way, whenever I see my family in Kentucky I'll try to support the center by because the Arts are important!

This is a great little music venue! We came down to see Old Crow Medicine Show in Sept 2018. We bought our tickets late & ended up sitting in the very back row of the balcony. I was worried the sound would be bad because of the wall behind us, but it was great! I will say that it was frustrating being a fan of the band, but seeing so many empty seats in the front few rows. I'm assuming those were no-show sponsorship seats, but that was odd to see in a small venue. Concessions were very reasonably priced, and very cheap compared to other venues. While mobility isn't an issue for us, future attendees should be warned that the balcony is only accessible by a double set of stairs. There were several struggling people at the show we attended, who weren't aware there wasn't an elevator.

Overall, we would definitely attend to see an artist/group we were interested in in the future!

The facility and staff were nice and clean. My biggest concern was that the balcony was HOT. It was in the 30s/40s outside and the balcony had to be high 70s/80s. People were fanning themselves like it was a summer rodeo. I saw some people mention it to the staff but the airflow never picked up in the balcony.

Cool place and clean bathrooms. Y’all I blew that bathroom up. I’m talking about gripping the toilet seat, sweat pouring down, getting butt butterball naked. Bathrooms were clean and they had Scott tissue.

pays the stagehands 10 an hour to make sure the shows go on. boycott this venue and never buy a ticket for anything here.

My family came from out of town to see Mary Shelly's Frankenstein & a lovely friend of mine! We won tickets! It was fabulous!!! We will be back! Good job everyone!!!!
