This is the most darling small town coffee shop by day and the loveliest pub on their occasional pub nights with live music. The vibe is immaculate. Nothing is overdone. It just feels cozy, welcoming, and inviting. When you are there, you just feel like family. The connection and community that this space provides and encourages is so darling. The scones are incredible, the adult drinks are divine, and they have so many flavors available for coffee. I quite enjoy trying their fun seasonal espresso drink specials. The staff is so helpful, kind, and sweet.

Had been seeing this adorable spot online and had to give it a try! The atmosphere is absolutely picture-perfect and well thought out, the gal who made my coffee was so kind and welcoming, and my iced latte was delicious. Will definitely be inviting friends to enjoy Public House 421, too!

Highly recommend! Met the owner today and she is amazing. Delicious desserts and great drink options. I’m not a big coffee drinker but she made me an energized Italian Soda that was sooo good. What a cute atmosphere!

What a great place! Stopped in for a coffee while on our way out of town. The owner was behind the counter & a delight to talk to. The space inside is beautifully decorated and clean. The coffee was delicious & my daughter enjoyed a tea drink called London Fog. We will definitely be making a trip there in the near future.

Beautiful coffee shop. Very friendly staff and great place to grab a coffee and pastry. Sonos speakers playing music throughout the building and soft lighting on every table create a great atmosphere.

The Public House is the hidden Gem of Slater! Excellent coffee menu and tons of flavors. Wonderful sweets in the display case to complement that morning drink. The staff and is wonderful and always greets you with a smile.

Now, Public House also has a pub side and offers high end drinks and brings in some entertainment. The environment is something that just makes you want to come back for more.

Mel and her staff has also worked a couple of private events into their schedule for us. Always there and being assured our needs were met.
