Finding a good place to live that is affordable and conveniently located, is very difficult in today's economy. Finding a good place that is affordable, conveniently located, and owned and operated by genuine people who actually care about their tenants and having a place that is safe & enjoyable to live, is nearly impossible! I've lived at Raleigh Hills for nearly four years, and I choose to live here because it's evident the owners and property management value us tenants. Rent is very affordable, especially for the area and size of the apartments, tenant issues are addressed quickly (they fixed the drip in my bathtub the day I called about it), and my interaction with employees has always been positive, upbeat and genuine. I'm a man who believes actions speak louder than words so I really appreciate living in a community where they show care for tenants and not just advertise they do and don't follow through. Much appreciation for the owners and staff!

I lived here for 6 years. The first 2 years the management was great. When the current property manager, Martin, took over things went downhill very fast. The units are older with old appliances. Nothing is ever actually fixed, they just put in a temporary solution which leads to more problems. Any issues you have Martin will say it’s your fault and speak to you rudely and condescendingly. He once yelled at me in my own home for over 10 minutes while I was holding my 6 month old daughter over a missing screw. As a woman it was horrible and made me afraid to ever have him in my home when I was without my husband. There is mold in and on the walls and is constantly not taken care of. Always told that it’s “normal.” The shared washers and dryers are never cleaned, I had to wipe out scum from them with every use. Many complaints have been made about Martin by many different tenants yet nothing has ever been done about it. The rent was raised each year despite there being no updates at all to living or common spaces. Upon move out we were charged a shocking amount of money above our security deposit. After 6 years there, naturally there is wear and tear, but they charged us $1700 additional for ridiculous reasons and made it seem as if we completely trashed it. Not true. If you currently live here, please take pictures when you move out so you don’t end up with the same fate as me. If you don’t live here, please don’t move here. Upon moving out a couple months ago my family is less sick, sleeps better, and feels better which I can only believe is due to the mold problem. It will seem like this place is family oriented, but all they care about is money. It’s not worth it.

Dingy, noisy, crummy outdated apartments. No parking, and noisy upstairs neighbors. Walking distance to Fred Meyers which was nice. Probably the only redeeming feature. You should probably look elsewhere.

I’ve lived here 25 years because these apartments are so safe and the bedroom, bath, living room and kitchen are spacious for apartment living. Raleigh Hills Apartments are family owned. The owner oversees the management and plans for repair and upkeep on a regular basis. If I’ve ever needed a repair, it has been addressed immediately. Parking is rarely an issue for me and/or my visitors. These apartments are located in an area close to schools and shopping. The people I know here have elected to remain here 10 to 15 years for the same reasons listed above. This is another reason I consider living here so safe - good people!

I have lived here happily for almost 3 years, the neighborhood is safe and conveniently located near multiple shopping centers and close to the freeway to get downtown in less than 10 minutes. I absolutely adore the owners, Roger and his wife, both are incredibly welcoming and if you ever need a repair they attend to it almost immediately. Martin the on-site property manager is incredibly friendly and attentive, he’s a skilled handy man and is very quick to respond. I love all my neighbors and everyone is respectful and kind in passing in the hallways and communal spaces. Parking is easy and plentiful. My unit has a large yard space that we’ve utilized a greenhouse and is perfect for our dog. The building and owners are very pet friendly and there’s a few parks nearby that are great for dogs. The apartments themselves have mid century charm and our unit even has some beautiful original fixtures. Overall our experience as tenants here has been wonderful. Would absolutely recommend to our friends!

Beautiful apartments and great staff! I chose to live closer to work but this place was so welcoming I almost signed up for a commute!

I've lived at Raleigh Hills Patio Apartments for 17 years. I love the mid-century modern vibe with the tall ceilings, wooden beams, and large rooms. As others have said, the downstairs units can be dark, but it keeps me cool in the summer and warm in the winter - I just use lamps and it's perfect. There have been four on-site managers in my time - all had a little different vibe - but they all cared about me and were there to help if I needed it.
It's not an ultra-modern place, but that's why I chose it and choose to keep living there. It's not an apartment complex - it's my home.

The 2nd manager was nice, but did nothing to address the black mold growing on the ceiling and just painted over it. The 3rd manager said the mold was my fault for having plants. She would repeatedly pound on my door and harass me bc she wanted my apartment. A mold company said don't bother testing it, just move. It caused extreme health problems I'm paying for to this day. There is the price of cheap rent.
