Fun spot!! We went to the open house at Fermi Labs and saw Dr. FREEZE! It was so fun and a great show for kids and adults alike. He demo'd liquid nitrogen and it was noisy and rambunctious and clearly the kids loved it.

Great place to hear lectures by scientists, especially physicists. Some lectures are by Nobel Laureates and sometimes they can be seen in the audience.

Wonderful place to attend a lecture or performance! Great acoustics and every seat a good view. Each season there are a wide selection of varying and unique programs to choose from. Events range in price from free to minimal or higher.

The last time I recommend one of Fermilabs' Arts & Lecture Series' productions, it became so popular that I can no longer get tickets now before it's sold out (yes, the annual Physics Slam). So, I'm hesitant to give the 5-star review that, really any of the lectures or performances that I have seen here, clearly deserves. And, I definitely will avoid mentioning the extreme (ly low) cost of attending.
I will say: this is truly a gem in our community. I love bringing my friends and loved ones for their first time, because they always thank me for opening their eyes to this somewhat hidden gem.
But please don't go buying up all the seats before I get my tickets, please!

Great auditorium for lectures and concerts! Fermilab Arts and Lecture Series admins are doing an perfect job on selecting awesome performers! I can't remember a single show that we didn't enjoy. And given that we have two small kids, we really appreciate a 7 pm kid-friendly show once or twice a season! The only minor issue is that the scene real estate is somewhat limited, so when they invite a big company (think Riverdance-size) the artists visibly struggle to fit. For smaller companies that's clearly not an issue.

Stairs, no ramps. Narrow leg space in front of the chairs. Disabled seating at the very back. If there is any other, it is not obvious. Nice stage and acoustics.

Love this place for great music, entertainment and science lectures in the far western suburbs. No other place out here has this variety of public events. Recent favs include "Las Cafeteras", "Deep Sea Bioluminescence", and the annual "Physics Slam". What other place can you dance, laugh, be inspired and learn so much? This place is a treasure!!!

Very nice auditorium to see and hear a performance or to hear a lecture on science. A great way to be a part of the special community that is Fermilab.
