Such a beautiful location to have a rodeo! Absolutely love that they prayed at the start and allowed us to stand when it was full.

Just passing thru. Stayed overnight here. For small fee per horse you can put you horses in small pens so they can stretch their legs and eat. Fresh water available. Good idea to bring your own feed containers to put the water and grain and such in. Nice and quiet.

Love looking out into the arena and seeing the beautiful mountsins to the East.
My 5 year old great-granddaughter raced barrels and poles on her trusted horse when we were there. She placed 2nd in both.

Everybody needs to experience this place. My sons had his company picnic there and they did a great job. Have the utmost amount of respect for all the Archuleta county workers.

I went there last summer and was disappointed to see tons of little kids kicking and harassing the young cattle and other animals off to the side while the show was going on. There was no one watching the kids and it was very sad to watch. They were literally kicking the animals and I had to look away from disgust. Will never go back.

Attended the ranch rodeo as part of the Archuletta County Fair. It's always fun for the kids and us. There is a covered area to seek shelter from the sun and the occasional small rainshower. Fair grounds entrance fee and rodeo fee are quite reasonable.
