It's good enough for me dude. I'm not paying Regal 18 dollars per showing and the Odem theater is run by a lunatic, so Redmond Cinema ftw.

It's clean, plays movies, and is local. Who cares if the staff are disinterested, not that they are, you interact with them for 5 seconds then see a movie and you don't have to drive to Bend. Mostly they are very nice but their job is boring as this theater gets very little traffic. Also, you can't expect a small theater to pay much and therefore recruit bubbly, upbeat employees. If you trash the theater and no one comes, it will go out of business, ruining this wonderful service for the rest of us. I love seeing movies here and could care less how the staff acts. Tonight, they were exceptionally friendly.

I love this little theater! It is run by independent owner and they show a variety of new movies with lots of family options.

Their concession stand now has adult beverages, sparkling water, and kombucha, which is a really nice change from only sodas.

It's a simple, old school theater. No reclining seats, no fancy lobby, no table service for food. But it's a small business that offers affordable ticket prices with new release movies in our little town.

Remember when you're reading some of these older reviews: businesses like this really struggled with the pandemic closures that went on for years in Oregon. They didn't have AMC or Regal money backing them and they are just now starting to recover.

Their hours change seasonally so be sure to check when they are open. You can always call their number and get the recorded message of hours and showtimes.

Millennials/Gen Xers, remember when you were a kid and your friends had jobs at the local theater? This is that place! The high school kids who work here are well-meaning and competent. If, as some other reviewer pointed out they aren't perfect greeters or seem "robotic", give them a break! This is probably their first job and they are learning. And hey, they showed up, which is more than a lot of adults do for minimum wage jobs these days.

While I like the fancy big cushioned-seat theaters around the county and the brew pub downtown, their ticket prices are getting expensive compared to the Redmond Theater.

So, if we want go to have a drink, get some popcorn, and escape from reality for a few hours with tickets that won't break the bank, this is where we go. Highly recommend this for a no-frills but comfortable movie viewing experience.
