Walking into Regal Cinema feels like stepping into a post-apocalyptic movie—fitting, really, since it's the only business still standing in the husk of a once-thriving strip mall. The parking lot is a sea of potholes, as if it’s begging to star in its own disaster flick. Every now and then, I half expect a tumbleweed to roll by or a lone mall walker to emerge from the shadows, searching for a shoe store that hasn’t existed since 2008.

Inside, it’s like the theater knows it’s the last one standing. They’ve cranked the AC to a level that ensures you’ll shiver through your overpriced soda, but hey, that’s probably part of their cost-saving measures—freeze the customers so they don’t notice the popcorn tastes like it’s been popped during the Obama administration.

The staff? Equal parts polite and “I’ve been here since the beginning of time.” You can tell they’ve seen things—like the day Payless Shoes closed down or when the pet store’s fish tanks were mysteriously empty. They serve your nachos with a smile that says, *“It’s just us now. We’ll keep the lights on until the bitter end.”*

Still, there’s something oddly charming about this cinematic Ark amidst the flood of shuttered storefronts. The screens are big, the seats are comfortable, and the previews remind you of a world where people still wanted to gather and do things. Regal Cinema isn’t just a theater—it’s a memorial, a beacon, a monument to the era of malls and movie dates.

So come for the blockbuster, stay for the existential reflection on modern consumerism. Regal Cinema: where the movies are still playing, and hope, like the nacho cheese pump, springs eternal.

So glad they reopened the theater, we definitely will be going more instead of driving to columbus. We went and saw Wicked and the picture and sound was great. We can't wait for the remodel.

Couldn't ask via the Ask Button... There isn't one..are you reopened? People in town have said it is, but there's no website, phone leads to a dead end with every extension, downloaded your app, another dead end.

I don't drive, so I can't just schedule a 2 hour venture to get dropped off at a 'deserted' location..

So. Have you reopened?

Do not listen to some of the others this place is still not open I don't know why they keep telling people it's open or reopened but there are no movie times in the website shows no theaters here there is no sign that this place is actually open

Come here a lot for movies. Always clean and always has good service. Only issue I've ever had was in theater 1 I could hear the sound from the theater over during quiet parts of our movie.
