My amp had power to the power tubes, but to nothing else. There's a guy in town who knows just about everything concerning guitars, amps, and repairs, and he had no clue. I brought it to Rhapsody and the guy had it fixed in 1.5 hours (not the same day, my amp was 3rd or 4th in line and the amp repair guy only works 2 days a week, so it took 2 weeks) and where I was thinking my amp had either just become a paperweight or was going to cost 3/4 of what a new one would cost, it was $150, a fraction of what my amp is worth new.

I highly recommend them to fix your amplifier.

We went here looking for a ukulele for our son. We weren't sure what we were looking for but the sales person was very helpful. There was no pressure, only there when we had questions. He helped us find the best fit for our son, and we are very happy with our purchase. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely be back for our music needs.

I was ready to give this place 6 stars - for a welcoming environment, decent pricing, accessible hours, a massive selection and a friendly and knowledgeable staff ready to guide you through it.
Until I needed assistance after the sale had been made and learned that they don't back up their products.

In short, I was sold a defective product and told to (metaphorically) kick rocks when I tried to return it.

For more context, I bought a harmonica.
I brought it home to find that the last 3 holes (out of 10) were quite unresponsive and when blown hard enough to be activated, were ear-splittingly out of tune.
I'd expect this from an $8 toy harmonica, but not from a brand new, semi-professional harp in the $60 range.

So I read and followed the return instructions on my receipt and headed back to the store.
When I walked in and mentioned the word "return", I already felt a degree of resistance before even presenting the item in question.
After pulling out the defective harp, I was quickly shut down and told that they don't accept returns on harmonicas, as I'd already blown into it.
The receipt didn't mention any exceptions, but ok, that's understandable. Sanitation is important.
However, I only see how that would be relevant if they planned on trying to resell my defective device to the next unsuspecting customer.
This sort of thing should be taken off the shelves entirely, right?
But I don't have a confrontational bone in my body, so I gave a quiet "ok", and headed back toward the door.

As I walked out, the staff members just stared at me in silence. No goodbye, no advice on how to make the best of my only half-playable harp, not even a sorry and a shrug. It was very awkward, and a stark contrast to the niceties I was showered in when I was giving them my money.
For this reason, among others mentioned, I likely won't go here again.

Amazon had the exact same instrument in stock for $10 less, with free 1-day shipping. They would have taken it back without issue.
But I wanted to support a local business. And for that, I'm out $60 and have nothing to show for it.

I write this not to punish or "get back at" the business, but to warn prospective buyers not to see a smiling face and assume you'll be taken care of.
Thoroughly test your equipment before paying, no matter how inconvenient it may feel to the staff, and no matter how much you're being rushed to the check-out counter. This is what brick and mortars are for.
Familiarize yourself with the ins and outs and all the fine print of the return policy.
And pay with a credit card when possible, so you have the last resort of a charge-back if you find yourself in a particularly egregious situation.
