I got my puppy Roxie from work around the end of July. I worked sometimes 80 hours a week. Definitely mon through Friday days so my husband, whom I love dearly, missed her shot appointments. We'll we just went on vacation from. Ludowici GA to the Ozarks in southern MO and my puppy's has been sick for 3 days; I thought she got Parvo. I called this place which was open until 12 thank God! We live an hour away but they got us right in. While I filled out the paperwork Ms. Rebecca was out at the truck testing Roxie for Parvo. The test came back negative and they immediately with our permission (so we knew what our bill was going to be) got started on more tests.

We couldn't find anything out but Roxie has had extremely bloody diarrhea and vomiting.
So they took extra precautions and gave her fluids, antibiotics, and nausea medicine. These ladies were loving and I would have gladly left my puppy in their care. Roxie was already feeling better on the ride home. I could tell because she laid down comfortably and went to sleep.

Ms. Amanda was very helpful in giving us tips and care info. And is going to call and check in on us on Monday because we came in on Saturday right before they closed.

A couple of weeks ago, our regular vet was not open, and I needed to take our sweet Kelly girl in to give her dignity in her final day. They were able to help me in that heartbreaking time. The staff was very kind and gave us both the time we needed.

Today, we received a very thoughtful sympathy card with kind messages from the staff in the mail along with a paw print and little nose print of Kelly's. I am very grateful for those mementos!

Don’t bother with this place. I made an appointment (Wednesday) to have my dog’s nails trimmed, he needs sedation for it. We got there 15 minutes early to be told they can’t keep the appointment because they had emergencies come in so they’re “much further behind than they would like.” So can I come in Friday? I understand the nature of emergencies, but I also understand the importance of not wasting people’s time. They could have called to say they needed to cancel before I packed up my anxious dog to waste my time bringing him in there. It’s a phone call, you have a receptionist for a reason.

Over all its a nice place to bring your pet.

Front desk was kind, and even called my previous vet to get all the information I needed. The actual veterinarian was very kind, and friendly. My dog warmed up to her pretty quickly, and my dog isn’t one to warm up to people.
One down side is that when you walk in all the chairs are facing each other, which makes it a bit hard whenever a new dog comes in. Dogs are always going to check out their surroundings, but its a lot harder to distract your dog when the chairs are all pointed towards the door.

I cannot say enough good thing about doctor Amanda, she is amazing and compassionate.She saved my dogs life when another vet in the area wouldn't help. When my elderly dog was sick towards the end she did everything she could to make her last days with us comfortable. My current dog loves her, he is always happy to see her, I trust them 100% great team!

I really like the people here. They are very compassionate with my pets and really try to work with the owners desires. My dog goes in the vet and does not act real scard like she did at other vets. It is always a positive experience for my dog. And this means alot to me. Bella gives Richmond Hill Animal vet a 5 paw review. She really likes the staff.
