What a great venue, with vintage film equipment on display in the lobby. Nice lighting and sound systems for the speaking engagement that we attended. Parking is on the street, but was easy to find and the bathrooms were clean. Easy to reach from the highway. Will definitely look for other opportunities to go there in the future.

I recently attended an event at Rio Theater and had an overall okay experience. The facility itself was in good shape, and you can tell it’s well-maintained. However, a couple of things brought the experience down. First, there’s no alcohol service, which was a bit of a disappointment as it would’ve added to the enjoyment of the evening. Additionally, the air conditioning was poor to non-existent, which made the space feel stuffy and uncomfortable at times. While the theater itself is decent, it lacks some key features that could elevate the overall experience. If they could address these areas, I’d consider giving it another try.

There are FOUR LIGHTS!!! I've been to a few shows here over the years. The sound is never dangerously loud and it's always properly mixed so you can hear different players in an ensemble when they solo. The venue is historic and top-tier famous for good reason. That said you will spend the majority of your time looking at the floor or being blinded by four interrogation lights directly in your face all night long. Get ready for migraine down to your knees. Watched the Fab Four last Friday. Going here reminded me of how underrated smaller venues like this one are. You get to see the artists from a reasonable distance even if you only managed to get the cheaper seats. I wish the bathroom situation was better but it's not a deal breaker. I would definitely come back if there's another artist I'm interested in.

Caught a movie and a show here featuring the Residents. The price was very reasonable. I have driven by this place for years and never been too. I was happy to see theater style seating. They had a wonderful poster at the front of the house for sale. They are numbered and I want to see who's art this is. Great design work and color
