Dr. Love 70th Birthday social & Book Signing. Lovely venue for museum, photos, sit down dinner and lobby for socializing. HISTORY of Jax & art exhibits. Didn’t know you could do all that in there. Great social sit for 100-300 people. Event was 3+ hrs didn’t notice because of looking around museum and at art collection. Photo backdrops. Table seating for lunch. Lots of grown folks FUN ?

Great venue for hosting an event or just to visit the museum and discover Jacksonville and its Lavilla community history... My parents renewed their vows here. It was beautiful. Their renewal happened to be while a friend's solo installation was on exhibit. The staff there are all friendly and very helpful. Our event coordinator, Ms. Syrita, was amazing from beginning to end.

Great intimate venue. Great for getting super close to performers. My issue was the lack of food. How you cater to a mature crowd and you only selling mixed drinks, candy and popcorn? Just weird. So eat before you come or starve. Not cool at all. A small finger food menu would have been better than popcorn. I wasn’t there for a movie but an adult concert.

Loved the Ritz. We went on a Sunday and they have some fun activities for kids and adults to enjoy. It is a great time to get away on a Sunday afternoon. You can actually meet some of the local artists who have painting there for sale and they also have spoken words from locals.

I went for the first time to this theater/ museum as a special tour for educators. I had a great time learning about facts of the Black American artistic community and the struggles they had to endure to show their talents in the past. The indoor of the building is beautiful and they have a nice collection of artifacts. The robotic presentation is engaging and vivid.

I catered an event here for Nat Glover's book signing. What a great event at a historic venue complete with theater and museum.

The staff and security were excellent and so very accommodating not only to the caterers but guests as well.
