This is the first time we took a vacation without Rizzo in years... but we flew and weren't able to take her this time. I never liked the idea that there was a possibility that she'd be in a kennel with little exercise the entire time... and left alone with little interaction. I found Riverside on Google and began following them on Facebook. I was impressed at how relaxed all the dogs were and how much space there was for activity!!

We made a reservation and decided to give it a shot. We had issues in the past with Rizzo having so much anxiety, she lost a lot of weight (we adopted her from an abusive household). We were sick to our stomachs for days leading up to her boarding... and almost backed out of our vacation... but I'm glad we didn't!

The people at Riverside were in contact with us daily and didn't make us feel like we were being a nuisance for being a little anxious ourselves. Rizzo was relaxed enough to continue eating and didn't come home looking like a skeleton (even though she could stand to lose a little weight, but couldn't we all? Haha). The pictures they sent us every day reassured us that we made the right decision in choosing Riverside!

I can't thank the staff members enough for the amazing, quality care they provided. Rizzo is happy to be home, but I know she had a fun time. We will definitely use Riverside again and will recommend them to our family and friends!

My 9 month old Golden Retriever was in acute kidney failure at the time of pickup and was in AMAZING health at the time of drop off! He was left with Purina Pro Plan Salmon dog food so it wasn't a change in his diet. You had an emergency vet ON CALL and never even had him seen. I chose your facility because you had that option in case of emergency and I even told you that!! I took him to our veterinarian who had seen him a couple of weeks prior to his stay at your facility and he was in amazing health!!! He also had all necessary vaccines, flea and tick prevention and heartworm medication. I had to euthanize my 9 month old Golden Retriever 2 weeks after his stay with you!!! He ONLY made it those 2 weeks because I spent thousands of dollars trying to save his life by giving him intravenous fluid provided by his vet, specialty food, and countless blood draws. He was my BABY!!! Our vet told us that this had to of happened on your watch! I called countless times during his stay to ask if he was okay and I was told he was THRIVING!!! Our vet saw him directly after his stay and was appalled at how he looked!! He said he didn't even recognize him!! I told you before and during his stay when I called, that I would have someone come get him if he wasn't doing well because we had a backup plan, but you said he was doing GREAT everytime I spoke with you!!! I now have to live without my best friend who should of had at least another 13 years to his life!!! Also, I NEVER told you to groom all my pups and you never asked!! I asked if it would be possible for you to bath one. When I called the morning of pickup, which I had scheduled, I was told they weren't ready and you would try to have them ready. When I picked them up, they were wet with poop on there legs like someone had tried to clean them up quickly. I was charged an extra $100.00 in grooming fees for what!? They came home smelling rancid of poop and pee and I had no clue you had "groomed" them until I saw my receipt. They had to have baths as soon as we got them home. People are going to be aware of what happened to my sweet Tucker Lee iiand where it happened so they can make an informed decision about boarding with this facility. Second picture is of him healthy and in his normal spot on our bed that he slept in while he was healthy and happy!
Third picture is of him not being able to stand because he was SEVERELY dehydrated and he was pooping blood.

Sixth photo is of our car ride to the vet as we said our last goodbyes.
Seventh is how I always want to remember him.
Eighth is of his ashes and the things I have left from him.

I didn't want to post these pictures because I hate seeing him like this and the hurt is unbearable but I cannot keep quite.
Our family is broken. We have 9 children and this has put such a heavy burden on theirs and our hearts. It has taken me 2 weeks since his passing to post this because I wanted to get all the details together.

Very nice and efficient.our dogs have stayed here several times,they take good care of our diabetic girl that also has cataracts so she doesn't see very well.you can also schedule grooming.one had a bath and nail trim,they other just a nail trim

Riverside Dog Resort has always been a reliable boarding and grooming center for my dogs! I always request grooming after our stays, and I’ve never been dissatisfied with them.

Very nice place. They took excellent care of our Labrador. He had some difficulty adjusting to being away and they were very patient with him. The most important thing to us was he didn't lose weight while he was there. He has went on hunger strike at pervious boarding facilities and come home skinny. He came home happy, healthy and looking like his normal adorable self.

My dog arrived healthy & happy. She left after 12 days with Kennel Cough.
This was an emergency boarding, (Riverside) knew this. Any other Boarding I have used across the Country, provides Bordatella vaccine.
