Omg Austin has saved me and my horse! My gelding is 12 years old and I’ve had him for two years. Austin has been working with him for several months and teaching him manners and giving him confidence which gives me confidence riding. He takes us on trail rides and brings one of his horses along. Highly recommend. He can come to you or you can board your horse at his place. He’s very flexible and helpful with any questions you have. Definitely check out if you’re looking for a trainer.

I had an exceptional experience with Austin in starting my young horse with ground manners and basic under saddle commands. His expertise and patience exceeded my expectations, delivering exactly what I had hoped for when sending my horse to him. I was struggling at home with my gelding not respecting my space when leading and some basic under saddle issues. This was exactly the 60 day start I wanted for my horse. Highly recommended for all levels. I've been riding horses all my life and I love that I still learn so much from Austin. His passion for horsemanship shines with every lesson. Seriously, his LOVE for horses and training horses is contagious. I especially appreciate his expertise in ground work. I'm the type that always wants to be in the saddle and Rock Solid Horsemanship reminded me of the importance of putting in the ground work as well. I've gained so much knowledge and confidence. I was able to learn to correct issues with my gelding that I never thought were something I could fix (my horse had no stop button, often would get hot in the arena, had an extreme need for speed, and his lope felt more like a sprint that I was unable to control and slow down. Austin helped work through all of this with me and gave me the skills and knowledge I needed to improve). Please go take a lesson with him. You will be so fulfilled and will thank yourself for the investment in your horsemanship.

I feel so fortunate to have my 5 yr. old mustang spend a couple of months in house training with Austin Cook. Austin trained my horse daily with solid ground work, moving on to arena and trail work. I am an older lifelong rider and plan to ride as long as I can. Austin encouraged me to come watch and even ride one of his horses while he trained my gelding and me. I came 3-4 eves a week. It was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Solid Rock Horsemanship with Austin Cook.

My husband and I have enjoyed working with Austin Cook @ Rock Solid Horsemanship. We appreciate his dedication to training our horses and his knowledge in training is impressive. After 30 days Austin had our buckskin mare Casey at a walk, trot and canter under saddle outside of the round corral arena and going over obstacles. I came in from out of town and called Austin as a complete stranger to come help me check out a potential horse to buy. He not only took the time out of his day short notice, but he came and gave the most thorough assessment on a horse you could ask for. Austin is a wonderful trainer, and I am very pleased with what a horse I got from him. Skip only had 90 days on him and within those 90 days Austin made an incredible horse that I would be able to teach and grow with on my own. I would 100% recommend Austin if you need a rock solid horse, or even one on one training. As you can see skip has come a long way and I couldn’t have asked for a better horse than the one I got from rock solid quarter horses
