Animals are a blessing to have in our lives, and please cherish the pets that come into your lives, they are a gift from God. My little doggy “Winter” is missed so much and since he’s passed on I look every now at the Roscommon County Animal Shelter for another baby to love. My doggy Winter wasn’t adopted from here but I Will keep looking here for my next!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I called cincerned about what I thought was a lost pet today. This first time I was awake and able to call during business hours since Memorial Day weekend started. (Working) and because the lady knew my EX father in law her concern was that I was lying……..not the dog she was more concerned with who she thought I was as a person not that I was trying to do the right thing for the dog… come to find out my boyfriend knew the dog and he is going to take care of it for the owner. I have two dogs I love animals I have never had to call animal shelter because I wanted to get rid of a dog. Maybe just maybe think about what kind of nosey think they know it all people your taking your animal to and ask your self do they care about the animals or about how they look taking care of them. Makes me wonder if they are taken care of properly or if they just spend all day talking about people they know nothing about.

The facility is well kept and the staff is friendly. You can really tell they care for the animals. I am glad they make purchasing dog licenses easy. They are open at convenient times.

Great place love my Goldie I got.they were so friendly and helpful they even sent him two kitty beds with him . He really loves the one and my other cats enjoy the other . Thank u for being there and helping all the animals
