Great theatre with only being $5 per person. I have a family a five, so it does not break the bank. However, I do support their concessions that are also very affordable!

Great people who run it! They are very friendly and have exemplary customer service!

If you ever wanted to take time out for a moment of peace and really experience a hometown favorite, then come to the Danville Square. More importantly, the historic Royal Theater and watch the latest box office hits and the occasional ghost story or two 😁 The owners work the concession stand and are an amazing couple. Keep up the great work, Bill and Sharon Wright!!!

The Royal Theater is such an incredible experience. There truly isn’t much better than an old time movie theatre, and this theatre has that classic feel with a very nice screen making it an overall wonderful movie experience.

There’s something to be said about giving back to the community and you can tell right when you walk in the doors that the owners and staff truly care. I cannot say thank you enough for what you all did for my family the other night. Truly a special occasion and one we will all cherish.

I love this cute little place.
Right in the heart of Danville, it has a lot of history. Although it only plays one screen, it's still worth it to go and have a family night out, or date night! Prices are great too compared to big time theaters, so it's good for the memories and the pocket too!
Everyone is super kind there and they take a really good care of the place - always clean and always welcoming!
TIPIf you have a bigger party, make sure to get there early so you can sit together!

Historical part of Danville brought back to life. The inside is impeccably spotless, bathrooms are always clean, the theater floors are never tacky with spilled soda or buttery popcorn. The concessions are priced affordable and the employees could not be friendlier! You can definitely tell that the owners take pride in this place!

We came to the Royal to celebrate our 9-year-old's birthday and brought a bunch of her friends! The owners were so incredibly helpful and kind as we came through with a bunch of kids! The prices of tickets and snacks cannot be beat and the location in the Square is so convenient and fun! Can't wait to come back!

My wife & I went there for the first time to see "It's A Wonderful Life" & fell in love with the theater. The Staff is Amazing & The Theater has a very nostalgic feel to it, which now makes us want to go back there to see another movie. TRULY LOVE THIS PLACE!
