What an amazing, old-time, classic theater! Built in 1914, showing movies and stage shows through until today. Recently saw a great show from a local PNW musician here and it was a cozy, but not cramped experience. The audio sounds good and the mezzanine is well situated with good views. They have an original Wurlitzer, which is beyond amazing. The cars of the staff and owners shows in the ambiance and decor. From what I was told they have never remodeled and it is still beautiful!

Movie audio & video quality were awesome. The balcony is reserved for 18+movie goers but main floor is open for everyone. The balcony is smallish & offers old style theatre seats.

Over 100 years old and on the National Register of Historic Places, Ruby Theatre is a little gem of a movie theatre right in the heart of Chelan town. What a great way to cool off on a warm evening and enjoy a piece of history.

I just love the Ruby Theatre and the owners are absolutely wonderful people.
I enjoy the Ole nostalgic feel.
It's just a nice size theatre. You can see the screen from any seat even if someone tall sits in front of you.
The snacks are very fair priced.
Oh gosh try sitting in the Balcony! Wonderful place!

Loved the historic theatre. Neat to see the old fashioned design. The screen is smaller than a modern theatre, but the picture and sound were great.

Such a fun place to go see a movie. I love the history it brings and the fact that it’s been around for so long is incredible! The last 10 years I’ve been here I went to movies here and it’s always a great experience! It’s also fun to see what they bring to the theater because it’s a one screen theater.

Fantastic old theatre with a majority of its old charm intact! I randomly was able to met with a man who I think owns it? I didn't get his name because we went straight into a a midday tour for no reason at all except that he seems to be a nice person. The have a Wurlitzer organ and he did his best to describe it's functionality to me but I am not even going to try repeating it here because I think I was a lousy student and just didn't understand. Anyway, if you are from a place that has an old theatre (in my case the Hollywood in Portland) you will love it. I brought my son back in the evening to see Superpets. Current shows are mostly digital presentations I believe but they have a working 35mm when prints are available. The Wurlitzer is there but I think not currently functioning for performances, but worth a look through the window under the stage. Also some people have apparently gotten married there, which I would definitely do if that was an event I was planning! Balcony still in use, age 18 and above. Basic concessions available with solid popcorn. AC is cranking (love that)! Seats are comfortable and they have fold up and over "desk tops" You get historical photos of the area presented before the show which is fun too!
