Running P Ranch exceeded all expectations! The beauty is stunning, especially of the high Sierras off in the distance. The "Margaritaville" bar is the social hub of the venue and the lawn seating is spacious and easy to navigate even with a large party. The food was the real highlight! A pig on a spit?! Half a cow buried with 2 feet of coals for 20 hours!? Needless to say when the meat emerged from its fiery grave it delighted the 250 guests at the party to no end. After dinner the dance floor came alive and guests of all ages got their groove on for hours under the stars of the summer solstice.

Best of all are the hosts. Mike and Sally could not be more gracious and their love for the ranch and appreciation for their guests is palpable in every interaction. I would recommend Running P Ranch for events of all kinds: wedding, graduations, anniversaries, this is the place to do it! Thanks to the Paces for sharing your passion for the land and for the community with us all!

Hi I actually postponed our wedding to November and had no problem with y'all not being able to have it in early April. Just when I called to ask about it, the woman whom I talked to was very rude and wanted to just end the conversation asap. But when talking to my future mother-in-law you were so kind and kept calling to check to see if we wanted to have it. It was a beautiful place and I would have loved to have my wedding here. But as for first impressions, it was not good at all and left us a bit bothered.

Beautiful wedding or party venue! It has the total country feel! The restrooms are adorable. The bridal suite is beautiful. Lots of room for a large bridal party to doll themselves up. The venue its self is bi-level. The ceremony is below the reception area. It's really stunning! The plants and grass are perfectly manicured. I was very impressed!
