It's a nice place but not good to hold elections. Parking is not enough and very difficult for elderly or handicap individuals to maneuver around when the line is wrapped around the building and people standing on the sidewalk. It should go back to the high school. Nice venue but bad for election day.

This is a beautiful little venue for lots of different parties. We had a great time at our friend's anniversary party. Plenty of space for dancing and setup for food. Good quality tables and chairs and a really cool atmosphere.

Great venue for all kinds of different hosting needs. Kitchen is available with industrial grade appliances for almost all your cooking needs. Plenty of rest rooms. Decent parking. Seated in the middle of Berea, there is plenty to do outside of the folk center as well. There is a children's park in front of the building but you have to cross a street. A skate park, soccer field, basketball court, and football field directly behind it. All with water fountains and restrooms. A walking trail or bike trail that leads to the youth baseball and softball fields. The folk center is in walking distance of several shops in old town.

So hard to get a reservation here. Called a few months ago to book my daughter's first birthday and they said I had to wait three months in advance. Called today (three months ahead) and now the city has taken every weekend in December.. city takes priority they said.

I really enjoy the Bluegrass jam sessions each Thursday evening! There were fewer in the audience & players this past week, probably due to the high outdoor temps. (Since, likewise, 1/2 my walking group was absent from our meeting at the track).
Nevertheless, the music & comraderie, as always, plucked our heartstrings & renewed smiles.

Very nice. The Christmas function had many vendors and was packed with people. By the way the Kettle Korn from Bluegrass Kettle Masters is excellent!

Was married here, have most of our big family Christmas parties here, thanksgiving and other venues that make this place feel like a piece of home. Everything will stick with you when you leave.

The first time I ever voted in a presidential election was in this building. The center has a gorgeous wood interior and it’s well organized!
