This is a quaint local playhouse to watch live theater. The performers are talented. This is our second time there. Easy parking.

Who doesn't love melodrama?

This stars business is really tough when it's a teeny little community theater...and every show varies wildly. With Villany in the Vineyard you're getting a cheesy script, a mixed bag of actors, and free punch and cookies. What's not to love?

I loved that the box office was run entirely by the house manager with a cash box who gave me the senior discount without asking. (I should probably have worn sunscreen when I was young...)

The performances spanned the continuum from "I'm an engineer in first show ever" to "I have to perform under a fake name because of my SAG card..." and "I was on Broadway but only for a couple of years after Julliard."

This being the best part of community theater...the whole effort being representative of people who just love theater.

Just like the rest of the world...some people have perfect timing, some make everything look easy, some people are working every angle, some have the best intentions, some are awkward, and some can't remember what they are supposed to be doing if their lives depended on it.

That last one is my role, on stage or off.

There are maybe 50 seats on ground level. ADA compliant.

For this show, the lighting was bad and the sound was awful. All recorded backing tracks totally overpowered all performers whether it was a solo artist or an ensemble number.

Other than that....Charming venue. I'll certainly attend again.

They check/request vaccination cards by non medical, unqualified personnel and even after violating my privacy they AND THEN require patrons to wear a mask. Albeit the directors rationalization was because the actors had gotten COVID previously and they had to shut down production. As if there’s not other places to catch Covid outside of the play— grocery stores, public transportation, gyms, etc. The state is not requiring masks in healthcare facilities in less than a month, yet they’re required here? What a joke. I am disgusted.

Small venu so a lot more intimate. Enjoyed the show. And was glad to support a local production. It's not Broadway but it's fun.
