I have been thinking about adding a new "baby" to our family. The person I was speaking with really surprised me. You all know that usually, when you go to a shelter, they practically shove the species of choice down your throat. Telling you how much this animal would fit perfectly into your family. You better get it now before it's gone. Etc. We'll not this lady. Sorry, I can't remember her name! But she was really awesome! She actually took time out of her busy, and I mean, BUSY day to talk to me and see what I am really interested in. After speaking with her, I have decided to wait a little longer for my furbaby. I really respected her for caring about finding a forever home that would be right for me and a kitty. Guys, if you can, help this place out. With adoption or donations. They were swamped and needed all the help possible.

I am very disappointed in the local animal shelter here in sandersville. My roommate just adopted a puppy yesterday from this shelter, and was told that it was 6 weeks old and healthy, and eating and drinking in its own. The puppy was picked up and very skinny. Can show pictures for proof. Brought it home and the puppy had been vomiting the whole way home. Contacted a few vets they had no available appointments for a few days. So my roommate gave it fluids thru a syringe and gave it puppy milk replacer thru a syringe and at 10:13 pm the puppy passed. Thy adopted out a sick puppy. This shelter will be held responsible for adopting out a sick animal that's been suffering. What a despicable place.! They will be reported and this puppy will get justice!!!!!!!!!

They are the most uncaring people I have ever seen they are heartless and cruel even when you call to make a complaint and keep it anonymous they tell the people you call about your phone number and name this happened to me and I have been harassed by this person since very unprofessional and the way they treat the animals need to be investigated

Does not say on website that animals have to be from in town. I called and asked the lady if they had room for 2 cats. "No." Then she asked how old they were (1 year old) "No." Then asked where i was from (the town over) Why does it matter? I was willing to bring them and paying for them. She wouldnt even put me on the waiting list. Rude as hell from the start.Dont waste your time. Anyone want a beautiful cat i have 2 who need homes ill give you the 10$ i was gonna give them

Had to drop off some kittens. They were kind and handled them carefully. There was a fee, but if that assures good treatment for animals I am glad for it.
