I’ve been boarding at Santiago Equestrian Center since 2015, and I absolutely love it! The family-friendly atmosphere makes it feel like home. The new management has been fantastic, implementing great improvements and adding more amenities while maintaining a kind and welcoming atmosphere. The maintenance team and stable staff genuinely care for both the horses and their owners, which really sets this place apart. If you or your horse needs help, the community at this barn is all hands on deck ready to help. The trails are beautiful, and the sense of community is unmatched. There’s truly nothing like it in the OC Equestrian community. I have seen so much improvement since 2014 to 2024, and there’s so much more to come. Highly recommend!

Just moved in last week…my horse King and I were so warmly welcomed by the boarders and staff that it already feels like home. I love the options for feedings for the horses. The facility is definitely making a name for itself by the great improvements and warm community! We are looking forward to trying out the trails soon!

We have been at Santiago Equestrian Center for 16 years. Very happy with the Equestrian Center. Horse owners very pleasant and Multiple trainers at the facility. Good Experience for young kids and Adults who want riding lessons. Five ⭐️ stars!

Santiago Equestrian Center is just around the corner from where I live, making it an excellent option when my wife said she wanted to start riding horses again. We were initially wary of some of the negative reviews floating around, but they couldn’t be further from the truth. The trainers are awesome, management is constantly making improvements, and the boarders are all super friendly and helpful.

We eventually bought our own horse, and are boarding it there now. David has been super responsive answering all our questions in a timely manner - something that’s always hard to find with horse people. So far we’re extremely happy with our experiences at Santiago.

I couldn't be happier that I made the decision to move my clients, 25+ horses, to Santiago Equestrian Center last July. David constantly improves the facility, values boarder/trainer input, and puts the horses safety and well-being before everything else.
Francisco is the best maintenance man ever and his guys are knowledgeable and helpful.
Our horses are SO happy, well fed, and well cared for! The arenas dry out really well after the rain and we're lucky enough to have a covered pen to ride in during the winter!
The footing and grounds are very well maintained and David makes sure the hay provided is great quality!

There are some real sweet country like people who know how to be courteous then there are others who are way too much into peoples business and create a negative atmosphere. The stables are ok in size but definitely in need of proper draining from the roof tops. When rainy season comes the place is a mess.More than a usual barn. Water pours into stalls from drains on roofs and back end for the majority of stalls have very poor trench if a trench at all. Also bathing area is muddy, mossy, and stinks if u step in the mud and rocks thrown on top of it. There are improvements of couple more arenas but there is a max amount of time for turning out horses which is ONLY 10 min that’s if no lessons are taking place. Rules are not posted. There is no grace with some boarders and they become confrontational and out of line with one another. Very Unprofessional on both management and boarders. Never know when lessons are scheduled & can take place in any arena. This is inconvenient for others. Time w horses can be well spent on trails near by. I find the ground and the arenas dirt are poor quality for the horses, always cleaning out black stinky stuff from hooves every day. Find problems w thrush is very common here as to other stables. No bathrooms for people Only a blue out house.

Management is constantly making improvements and is responsive to suggestions. We arrived when new management took over and they had a mess on their hands but have consistently made improvements. Happy horse, happy people.
