I absolutely love taking lessons at Scattered Acres and am thrilled to have found this place. I have been riding for many years, and owned 2 horses in the past, but now just want to take lessons so that I can continue riding and compete in low-level shows on occasion. SAE is the perfect facility to accomplish this. The barn is always super clean, well organized and promotes a caring atmosphere toward both it's clients and the animals in its charge. They can accomodate riders from beginners all the way up to advanced. The lesson horses are absolutely wonderful animals and are trained with an emphasis on safety and sensibility, to help ensure a sense of security and confidence for the rider. I cannot say enough good about my instructor, Katie. She is compassionate about her job, and is very knowledgeable regarding the mechanics of riding in general as well as the individual behavioral differences of each of the horses. And, she does a great job at assessing each student's abilities, in order to make the most of each lesson, and also creates diverse exercises that help to prevent the horses from becoming ring sour. On top of all this, the prices are more than reasonable.

Great training. Instructors are knowledgeable, patient and firm. Highly recommend. I drive an hour for my daughter's training and it's definitely worth it.

Absolutely amazing place .I've never ridden and was so scared . But the trainers are top notch and coached me through every step of the way .
