My first chance to visit the Schaefer Center/Ritz since I moved here. We choose front row balcony seats but all seats are great.

Ginger Billy is a great comedian. He played to his entire audience. We also got the meet and great tickets so we got to meet him and get a picture for Facebook memories and fun. I'm sure he will be back so go see him.

We look forward to other events in the near future.

This place is FANTASTIC !! My dad worked there as a teenager and actually met my mom here in the late 50s.
I saw several classic movies here as a child including Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back x7, ET x10 times, Raiders Of The Lost Ark and the whole Indiana Jones series except the last dumb Crystal Skull disaster.
Anyway, I was sad when the Ritz Closed in the 80s and I was finally old enough to attend movies without my parents.
Now the Ritz has returned to it former days of glory, no, even better !
My wife and special needs daughter love coming to almost all the events. The staff have never been anything but friendly and courteous and have assisted my daughter with her wheelchair when we sit in our favorite section. You also can't beat $1 drinks, snacks, and yes, even popcorn that's $10 at the other theaters is only $1.
Plus, for all you folks who like a glass of wine, they have alcohol sales for certain events.
Get job to Tammy and the staff !

Theater is a historic sight and presents numerous events each year. It's clean, unique and a great family center. I've enjoyed several events there and would highly recommend that you go attend an event there soon and ENJOY!

The Schaefer Center has been renovated and is now called the Ritz at the Schaefer Center. The Ritz has been renovated to its 1930s glory...from the deco accents, the reprinted original carpet design to the new original design markee! This a show piece that is an intimate venue for theatrical plays, music concerts, or political forums. A great venue to visit whenever you get the chance!

My father said he hopes the new renovations include a bathroom for the men. One toilet and a urinal causes back up for more than 1 man. Was a little disappointed they didn't make popcorn for The Malpass Brothers Showing but other than that it was great!

Thursday night is movie night 1 Dollar, popcorn one dollar and small coke 1 Dollar kids love it.
