I has the most amazing experience seeing a recent children's play here. I am biased my sister had been involved with this theater for nearly 20yrs and my nieces have acted in countless plays. I live on the other side of the country and have only had the chance 3 times to see a live performance. Seats are comfortable, box office staff is so friendly and the theater is quaint.

A great little theater with a lot of history! We saw a wonderful production of "I Do I Do". The actors, director and pianist were fantastic!
The size of the theater and proximity to the stage created an intimate atmosphere that leaves an audience feeling like they were part of the production.
This particular play was especially moving and cathartic and we thoroughly enjoyed it!
Would definitely recommend visiting this theater for future productions!

my favorite place to volunteer and audition at. need a theatre that ACTUALLY feels like family? come to shoestring!! they have been the most accepting most wonderful people i've ever met. even met my best friend and soulmate here ?

I have not only attended shows at this theatre, but I have also been involved in numerous shows there. Every president that has taken over Shoestring has been incredible and have definitely done a great job helping audience members to have a great time.
Honestly, you wouldn't realize that there is a theater in the area that it's placed in. But it is a nice little theater that offers a variety of shows and also has a kids program during the summer that helps those future actors get a chance to be on stage.
Also for any person that wants to gain a sense of community and get to be directed by awesome individuals should definitely audition for their shows.
Ticket prices are reasonable and the seating is nice. Bathrooms are accessible and even have a ramp for those that are handicapped.
Overall, a great place to go on a date, have a family outing, or just to be entertained.

Experiences here have been very good. Ticket prices are reasonable and the acting/play production is as good or better than many of the big area playhouses. Recent production of “Dead Dogs don’t Fart” was outstanding. They deserve and have earned the areas support.

How cute is this place?! I’d never had an opportunity to go before, but so glad I had a friend in a play there and went to see him. Such a great little venue! Sons was great, never had. Any trouble hearing, and every seat looks like a good one!!! A little unusual placement (within a neighborhood) but I really liked it!!!

This was so fun watching the kids. My only comment would be that some were difficult to hear with no microphones. But I understand they are still in learning process.
