I very much enjoyed the matinee show It’s A Wonderful Life! I encourage others to visit the fabulous SLT building and be a part of the comfortable audience.

I’ve seen It’s A Wonderful Life movie many times but the onstage presentation had an impact on me, as well as the group I was with, that the movie didn’t. Thank you, SLT, for a wonderfully impactful theatre experience.

Inside and outside, the theater is gorgeous. It may be a little theater, but it's big on charm.
The play was outstanding. The acting, the singing, the dancing...I never felt like I was at a simple community theater, more like a big production one. The cast was very talented. Meeting them afterwards was great because they were very personable.
Going to get season passes next year.

My husband & I moved back to Shreveport after living in Texas for over 40 years. What a treasure the SLT is and what enormous amount of talent in this city - acting, directing, set, and costuming. I have been to several plays and have thoroughly enjoyed the productions!

My husband booked last minute tickets to see a performance of Driving Miss Daisy. I didn’t know what to expect, but it was amazing! It was only three performers and they were phenomenal. We’ll definitely check out more plays here when we visit Shreveport again 🙂

This little theatre is wonderful! The kids and adults that perform and produce here are very dedicated, talented, and driven. The seats are a little snug, but I'm also a little wide; and the parking is best done in the medical lot behind the building, but other than that this theatre is definitely a must see place that holds and cultivates a lot of talent.

I totally enjoyed the musical. Excellent
hospitality. The theater is small in size but huge in history.

This theatre, at one time, was wonderful. It gave Shreveporters some real theatre. The Shreveport Little Theatre had some outstanding actors; delighted audiences with productions that rivaled Broadway plays. What happened? I've attended the last two productions and couldn't wait for the final curtain to drop. Our Town was so depressing that my friends and I left and couldn't wait to get home, jump in bed, and cover our heads. I realize the original play was a sad reminder of life in general but for goodness sake, we've just been through two years of sadness and loss. Two years of isolation. We are extremely familiar with depression. Can't the "powers that be" in The Shreveport Little Theatre give us-who have supported this once great local theatre-just a wee bit of laughter and joy? And actors that can really
act? This isn't a place for want to be actors trying to "make their bones" on the stage of what was once a place to really enjoy going to. Let's get back to theatre normal and greatness.
