We had a great private ride with Emily. The property gives some of the best views overlooking the mountains and the valley. Definitely a highlight of our visit. I’d recommend fitting this into your visit to Estes Park. Also, horses are really chill, and are well taken care of!

My boyfriend and I were visiting Denver for our anniversary and we planned one of our days up here and I wish we did proper research before embarking on this trip. We witnessed horses being traded off like clock work with no proper break in between. The website advertises 30 minute, 1 hour, and more please fill in where I am lacking. We did the 30 minute ride and the horse that got traded off onto us only got a water break not a proper rest and recover. I instantly regretted the 50 dollars we paid for but unfaithfully I continued with the ride worried about the money I had spent and chose to continue with the ride. (Please as an individual do not make the same mistake I made). I am not a horse expert but the horses we rode sounded physically drained and like they wanted to clock out for the day. The instructor that helped us check out prior to the ride let us know that it was really busy this week and verbatim that “with all the business coming in this week, they will be set for winter.” I hope this was not a subtle way of them letting us know they don’t really care for the horses only the money. Please use this comment to make your own judgement as a human being and do right by these animals.

This was an incredible experience and our guide Sierra was so kind and sweet and very knowledgeable about the horses, the property, and everything in between. Chewbacca and Joker were great horses and knew the trail so well, we rarely even had to steer them. We could not recommend this place enough, it was so great, even for first time horse riders!
