The outside of the district court is very nice with a walkway and benches. Many of the trees have are old and have been around for years. The outside is beautiful during the fall. Open Monday to Friday 8 to 5.

The office at my trial did not tell the whole truth and got away with it , the judge let most of the people off, not fair to me where he charged me more with the original traffic violation as the cop lied and he of course believed him. i live in this county for 32 years been a model citizen , worked hard all my life own my own home , , in this county the judge is not bias at all . Before my time i watch him let people get off of no insurance, no license, accidents etc if you go to church you are a good one too, I HAVE NO RESPECT WITH THIS JUDGE AND POLICE OFFICER SORRY TO SAY AFTER THIS ORDEAL . GOOD LOOK IN LIFE YOU ALL, YOU WILL NOT HAVE MY SUPPORT AT ALL. NOT A FAIR SYSTEM. prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair.

It seems the spotsylvania sheriffs office turned off reviews and for a very good reason. The officers that operate in this area and at this court are disgraceful. Officer Noakes is a prime example of this with his decisions, discussions, and diet. Each ticket he handed out came with a story of his anger and short temper, his decisions and clarity of situations seems blurred and filled with his own assumptions of each outcome, and it is shameful to see him and many other officers that are so visually unhealthy. We need officers that take care of their body and mind, when you can tell they get exhausted by walking up a flight of stairs, it also shows that their minds will not be sharp and capable of the decisions that must be made while on duty.

I was appalled at how rude the security officers are here. I didn’t realize phones weren’t allowed in the building, because it was my first time here. I’d never been inside of a government building before. He said that phones weren’t allowed, I thought he meant pass the metal detector. I asked to clarify and the officer said “Ma’am, this is the last time I’m gonna say this.” Which I replied that I was just asking a question to clarify, I don’t understand the rudeness and haughtiness of it all. He wasn’t even clear with his explanation. He could have said “phones aren’t allowed in the building” and it would have been self-explanatory.

I was seeing red, because it upsets me when people get away with treating others badly. I honestly think that the officer just felt I was below him. It was a bald, short fat officer btw.

I wasn’t even here for myself, I was with someone else. Now I will try to avoid ever having to come here again. Show some humility.

They don't allow phones inside so, leave it in the car & if u took a lyft there, u have to hide it under a column & hope nobody steals it like I did.

My husband got a speeding ticket when he was not speeding! He was home only for the Christmas, I wrote the a letter explaining that he wants to plead not guilty but he can’t appear in court the day they schedule him. Because he is in the Service (US Army) I even attached a copy of prove that he is in army. A couple weeks passes by and I receive a slip I have to pay$195 instead of $150 according to! I’m really chocked! That’s how they support military families charging them ($50) more instead of helping to reschedule his hearing date! It’s makes you lose all the hopes that you have for the justice, law and all you believed!
(When I called to find out why is it so, a woman told me the judge converted the speeding violation to some other one) I’m totally wordless

This shoddy little travesty in the overall court system houses pettifogger judges, that are almost certainly liberal in their political bent, who judge according to their feelings (in the standard way) rather than adhering to the law.
The clerk of court neglected to show settlement in a case I was involved in brought by a lowlife scummy treasure hunting welfare warrior by the name of Jerry Jackson; a person whose whole life was spent attempting to get something he did not deserve. One of these pettifogger judges awarded him $5000.00 that was paid by my malpractice company; the clerk of court however did not document the payment.
In my application for a mortgage, the mindless little agent, Angi Welch, at Fidelity Mortgage insisted that $5000.00 of my money be put in escrow until I could show settlement.
At closing the inept moron paralegal at the Lancaster Law Firm in Asheville, NC sent my $5000.00 to the Spotsy Court without my knowledge or consent.
I have written the clerk of courts, Ms Bulloch, requesting that my money be returned to me. She has so far ignored me; likely trying to figure out a way to steal my $5000.00. I'll sue her if necessary; she isn't getting my money.
