This hike was easy and short. My daughter and I wanted to see Steamboat Springs. So we found this short 1.2 mile hike. While sitting next to the Spring Creak pond we actually got to see an otter swimming and go into his wooded home.

Met so many happy dogs during our hike. I loved it here. Most owners actually clean up after their dogs so it's pretty clean. It's beautiful and I wish I lived closer.

This trail/park is perfect to take your pupper and let them run off some steam off leash! I saw everyone out there: walking, running and biking! The trail is 10 miles all together but there was never a part that I thought was "hard", the elevation changes are very gradual and easy. The trail follows the river for almost all the trail which is nice as well:)

Such a great dog park! The walk up to the area is right along a creek which provides ample opportunity for your pup to get a drink. The actual dog park is by the lower pond. My pups thoroughly enjoyed cooling off in the pond and rock hopping. This park is extremely clean...please keep it that way by cleaning up!

If your an out of towner to Steamboat and a hiker Spring Creek is a wonderful way to get out into nature! Easy to get to and really quite beautiful no matter the season! The people and their dogs are very friendly. Put it on your Steamboat to do list!
