The staff and veterinarians are the best! I take all of my fur babies here for their annual visits and have had several pets spayed/ neutered there also. The vets and staff are knowledgeable and are happy to answer my questions and go over any concerns I have. The on site spa for grooming is great also and always gets my girl looking her best! Thanks for all you do!!

We LOVE St. Augustine Humane Society! They have been very helpful to us even for emergency questions. I have had multiple cats spayed/neutered through their program and they are always affordable, quick knowledgeable and caring. I always recommend them for low cost care. Cannot thank them enough for the urgency of getting my last cat in for spay as well. ❤️

I am so happy to have found St Augustine Humane Society!
Dr Rockey is extremely knowledgeable and devoted. Everyone at this clean, well organized clinic are professional, friendly and obviously truly love animals. The office staff, volunteers, techs and veterinarians have all treated my pets with compassion and they were given excellent medical care. Also, very good care of several spay/neuter ferals. Highly recommend!!

I am so impressed with Humane Society of Saint Augustine! Brought my cat in for a spay, vax, microchip and not only did they do that, but they gave her ear mite treatment. I didn’t even know she had ear mites. They also cleaned up her abscess from a congenital condition we’re managing. They really went above and beyond to make sure she is healthy and well cared for!

I recently visited the Humane Society and had an extremely unpleasant experience with one of the “MANAGERS” .
The “MANAGER” was not only rude but displayed utterly disgusting behavior. It was incredibly frustrating and disappointing to be treated this way, especially at a place that should promote kindness and understanding. 🙂 This kind of behavior is unacceptable.
SHE THEN MENTIONED THAT SHE SHOULDNT TAKE IN GREAT DANES ANYMORE. THIS IS COMING FROM A PERSON WHO WORKS AT HUMANE SOCIETY. .. and apparently loves dogs? My GREAT DANE IS ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD.
She is refusing to provide OUR LAST SHOT BECAUSE WE CANCELLED THE NEUTER APT.
I was professional and simply asking questions if we can still complete his shots that THEY STARTED. AFTER SHE REFUSED I ASKED TO PROVIDE THE COPY OF THE POLICY. I was desperate for more information and just simple support.
SHE THEN ASKED ME TO LEAVE.
HER EXACT WORDS WERE “YOU CAN LEAVE NOW”
I’m disappointed.
I WILL TAKE THIS MATTER FURTHER.

P.S my mother and I used to donate food here but will not be coming anymore.

Highly recommend this place! Staff very nice and caring. Dr. Nelligan and Chantel are amazing at what they do and had great communication throughout vaccines and surgery! Thank you for caring for Kief!

Staff was so attentive and wonderful! Communication before and after our visit was also very appreciated. So thankful for LR and the team and how they cared for my sweet lil boy!
