I have been before as a patron and this time I got to be helping serve as a volunteer. The food is great the music excellent and the weather of this year was perfect.

I highly recommend if you're in the area and this event is happening you need to check it out. He will be on the city's website usually at least 4 to 6 months in advance. And happens pretty much the same time every year.

And if you have the time you can volunteer up to a week ahead of time for the fire department serving beer or I was doing it for the student council.

not enough Food Trucks, (very long lines!) plus BBQ ran out of Food at 2 pm! plenty of Dessert Trucks though. I don't think you need ice cream at a Beer festival (did not look like they did much business, better for a Family event) Music was not loud enough for those of us in the middle or back. I suggest putting the Sound Tent in the middle of the audience. Great beer selection! Also easy access to bottled water and sodas. Great set up with designated aisles.

I will start by saying the entertainment was absolutely amazing! What a great show by every single person who sang and or played for us!

The law enforcement was as always wonderful. All I encountered were friendly, welcoming and very pleasant.

The vendors you had on site were varied and well stocked. The food I ate was delicious. We were a group of 6 people and we found it peculiar that a hotdog vender was the food truck to visit according to an entertainer, ( numerous times), and didn’t seem to support any others.

The workers who looked after emptying the garbage were very good, ensuring they were never over filled and were also pleasant and friendly. The grounds were in fabulous shape and ready for this event. The washrooms were kept clean and tidy, which is def not an easy job to do.

I have rated my experience at this festival because waiting 15 minutes before opening the entrance for guests to enter the event which starts in 15 minutes does not really make sense. The opening for the music portion was started late and then the music ended early. Neither of these issues should have happened. There were also several issues while getting tickets or stamps. There were people being told no backpacks, bags, food or drink. I had a backpack which held my medications and explained that. My backpack was searched, which I understood and was ok with having done. The bag my camp chair was in was also searched. My husband who was purchasing our tickets also had a camp chair in a bag. I asked if she needed to search his as well. No, he’s good. I seen many other customers getting in with food and drinks in the open, actually held in their hands. There should be a rule for everyone or no rules for anyone regarding these instances.

Sincerely
Ann
