New favorite hotel alert!!! Our 5 night stay at the Surfsand was absolute perfection. We stayed in the dog friendly lighthouse king room with a view. The room was super luxurious with small kitchen amenities that made our lives so much easier. The tub filled up fast and hot and our fireplace kept every night so cozy. The staff was incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely happy to help us. Every moment was perfection. I can’t wait to come back!! Stay here you won’t regret it.

Thank you thank you! This was an amazing stay. Really upscale rooms with lots of accommodations: big tub, nice big tv, fun star light, spyglass for looking at the ocean, comfy bed, and really awesome service with special events. The stay even came with free cruiser bikes to ride around (when they weren't all being used which was frequently). Fresh baked cookies everyday. We didn't get a view room but still had an amazing view from the room. Our room was so clean and cozy and literally steps from haystack rock. Staff was so nice and really helpful. Felt like a luxury experience. My only request would be a hot tub that's actually outside. The sauna hall also didn't really get hot so defeats the purpose of these amenities. Also too many kids running around playing the gym. Other than that rest experience. Thanks!

We came here in the middle of Winter and happened to hit the weather perfectly. Beautiful sunshine, slightly breezy, not the typical weather you’d expect in the winter. People were out everywhere from downtown to all over the beach. The resort is right along the edge of the beach. There is access on each side of the resort to be able to get down to the beach. They have a pet wash station and an area to rinse off your feet with warm water. We were greeted at the front desk by two very friendly and helpful staff members. They were able to quickly process our reservation and get us the key to our room. We ended up in a beach front condo/room. The room was very nice with a large bathroom and a nice front room sitting area. The bedroom was positioned in the back tucked away just behind the side entrance. The bedroom was small, but fine for us as we preferred being outside in the beautiful sunshine. The tides lined up with timing, being low tide with plenty of daylight to explore the tide pools and Haystack Rock. Overall it was an amazing weekend at a very nice beach resort.
