The Tifton Museum of Arts and Heritage can be found within a beautiful Romanesque red brick church built more than 110 years ago.

Originally the city’s First Methodist Church, the interior is decorated with large stained-glass windows, vaulted ceilings and beautifully-finished doorways.

Built by the city’s founder, these days visitors to the structure will discover a regularly rotating series of art exhibitions.

They range from traditional paintings to porcelain and wooden sculpture, while the center is also a popular destination for arts workshops.

Me and my daughter enjoyed it very much. Our elementary school went on a field trip, it was my first time there. I was surprised at how free range it actually is. You can wonder around all day, and each building has its pn tour guide. Theres a beautiful lake, farm animals, blacksmiths forge, and a steam train.

I work part-time at the library beside this place, so I haven't gotten a chance to visit it, but I'll be stopping by soon on a weekend sometime. From the outside, it looks really amazing! We NEED more museums around here in good 'ole Tifton!

Lovely place for a wedding or reception. Difficult to arrange meetings/correspondence. Had to clean up BEFORE we were able to use the facility and they have a Pricey Clean Up Fee....

Enjoyed visiting the arts center. The art work featured had comments about the work and where it is displayed by the owner. I found that to be very interesting.

The Bug Art exhibit at the museum is awesome! People of all ages would love it. I hope to go back again while it is still there.
