This is a great venue for live music. We saw Jon Anderson perform here on 8/16/2024, and our experience of the show was wonderful. The acoustics are well designed, and every seat has a good view of the stage.

However, it was the staff that most impressed me. My partner and I are both disabled; she walks slowly using a cane, and I have very limited vision. We are both resourceful, and quite used to resolving problems ourselves. But at the Fred Kavli Theater, we never got the chance. Every time we looked uncertain about how to accomplish something, a staff member would magically appear and offer assistance. It was almost eerie how quickly help arrived when we needed it. As a lovely bonus, not only did these staff members solve our problems, they were all friendly, polite, and good-humored.

Thanks to this exemplary customer service, we were able to relax and enjoy the show without any distracting worries. That was a gift beyond price, and we appreciated it deeply. We will go out of our way to attend future events at this venue.

Came here for the Dr Jordan Peterson show … for $200 a ticket, plus $8 parking, next time I will wait and watch the lecture on YouTube in my comfy recliner. We had Row E seats right in the middle… I’m 5’3 and at 125lbs my hubby is 6’2 180. The seats were horrible, tiny tiny narrow, uncomfortable, none reclining, no arm rest movement, do not go here is you have a bad back or neck or anything that hurts.. we were like sardines.

The check in/security point was an awful set up, they don’t have VIP access until you walk in… so you stand in line with everyone else, and wait as long as everyone else… usually there’s a VIP line., that’s why we paid like $50 more.

The bar was a joke, they let you take drinks into the theatre but there absolutely no drink/cup holders so you basically have to chug it or hold it and elbow the person next to you to sip it.

Then we get inside, there’s no structure like everyone walks like a herd of cows and is asking where their seats are and what door to take .. very unorganized. The content of the show was great but to pay this much these uncomfortable seats was horrible! Never going to a show here again.

Prince 4U Symphony was remarkable!!! The sound quality was great compared to other sound systems in VTA County! The lighting and visual effects created a wonderful show. The bartenders were friendly! We really appreciated the staff that guided you to your seat! Would definitely attend this venue again for future events!! PS- Bring cash for parking garage it was $6-8

We were there for Gordon Goodwin's Bid Phat Band. 18 piece Jazz Band. They were great and I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The theater was full and everyone seemed to be enjoying the music. No matter where you set you are just a few people away from the aisle.

Seeing REO Speedwagon. Felt very comfortable booking the tickets as the venue required proof of vaccination or recent COVID negative test as well as mascaras at all times during the show unless actively eating or drinking. To our surprise quite a few people were not wearing masks and there was no one reinforcing the use of masks inside the theatre. Will think twitch before booking this venue again.
