What a great spot in downtown Ellijay. Our server, Brian, was awesome, and the service alone warrants another trip. The Lobster hushpuppies were a nice twist on a classic. The burger was fresh and cooked perfectly, as was the chicken. The perfect blend of great food and great service. Don't let the prices put you off - the portions are generous and the quality is top notch.

We enjoyed our meal here. We sat outside initially but it started to rain suddenly and the staff was kind enough to let us come inside the restaurant. We were there for the brunch menu and got the French toast, the chocolate chip pancakes, and the open faced French toast burger, and a Bloody Mary. Knocking off a star here because they did not bring whipped cream with the French toast, nor did they have the chocolate ganache for the pancakes despite it being listed on the menu. That should have been mentioned when we ordered so we could have chosen something else. Otherwise things were good.

I had the pleasure of dining at Butcher and Bottle in Ellijay, Georgia, this past weekend, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and tenderness, while the salmon was simply exquisite, with a beautifully crisp exterior and moist, flavorful interior. The burgers were equally impressive, juicy and topped with flavorful condiments making for a truly satisfying meal. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch, with attentive staff who made our afternoon even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a top-tier dining experience in Ellijay, Butcher and Bottle is an absolute must-visit! Family and pet friendly too!!

I really wanted to like this place! I am not one to give bad reviews unless it was really bad. Online it looked so hip and fun, but honestly our experience was not good. We booked online so maybe that was the issue. The first weird thing is that my husband was in a boot (he tore his Achilles) and they brought us upstairs for the table. It wasn’t a big deal we made light of it but the hostess, instead of being accommodating, told us we should have put that on our reservation. She wasn’t mean, but I do feel like they could have accommodated that better. But again, we could have said we needed it. After we took awhile to get upstairs she led us to this back room where we were one of only two tables occupied, and catering equipment was set up in the corner. It was very strange. It made me not want to order the $50 steak because the ambiance was just so weird. Our waitress was ok, but acting very strange and “wired”. And unfortunately the food was semi-cold and 5/10. For spending over $100 on dinner it just really disappointed me, my husband did get the ribeye and when the server set it down he called it a boneless steak ? I’m like this “boneless steak” is 50$ The flavors in my dish were great, but it was NOT fall apart meat like typical braised short rib. Idk. I don’t recommend it, I’ve been to quite a few quality steakhouses and paid the same amount for an amazing meal.

Our server Amanda was excellent! She took great care of us for our 1st anniversary. We had Diablo Shrimp, a wedge salad, seafood pasta, and mushroom swiss burger. It was all excellent! Then, they surprised us with two glasses of champagne. It was the perfect place to celebrate us!

We had an incredible experience at The Butcher and Bottle in Ellijay, Georgia! I started my evening with an espresso martini at the bar, which was hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Tyler the fantastic bartender made it even more memorable. He gave us recommendations for local vineyards to visit.
Alexa brought out a delicious meal with a perfectly cooked salmon, a hearty BLT, and roasted Brussels sprouts for an appetizer that were just bursting with flavor. Every detail was top-notch, from the food to the service. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a truly memorable meal!”

We popped into this place by happenstance and boy were we Rewarded. Great service, delicious meal, and good atmosphere. We are upstairs (there is also a downstairs dining area). Quiet enough for conversation. Smelled Great! Our server "Avery" was outstanding. The next time I'm in Ellijay I'm eating here, again.

We had the meatballs, shrimp Diablo, and the BBQ burger for dinner. Side of sautéed spinach and key lime pie for dessert. All of it was delicious.
Our waitress was Cody, she was great and attentive.
