It is in the Ritz Carlton. And it is five stars for a reason.

It is very, very welcoming when we walk in. The hostess was very polite and friendly, ushering us to the table that we like by the window.

We have Donte helping us to day and he is a such wonderful person and makes everything so easy and pleasant.

Everything we ordered was wonderful and in a timely fashion. From coffee to croissants, to the English breakfast tea to avocado toast to my conservatory omelette. All been very tasty.

We walked around after our breakfast and the ground was keeper in the meticulous fashion.

It is Ritz Carlton. Can’t go wrong with!

The view and ambiance was a welcome reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the work day. Window seat with a breath-taking view of the sunset. The salmon, filet, and mushroom pasta were spectacular! We even enjoyed a marvelous bagpipes presentation on the grounds after dinner! Great food, great service, great experience. Treat yourself to a fine experience at a delightful eatery in a beautiful location. You won’t regret it.

A casual restaurant at the beautiful Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay. We had breakfast on a weekday and the restaurant was pretty empty. Good service and good food. The view is amazing. Parking is by valet. You can walk down to the beach.

Johana is such a wonderful person with a giving soul! Johana made us feel special for Jerry's birthday and our 34th anniversary.
Arturo was our server and was very knowledgeable about the menu and connected to our experience.
The manager is very kind and accommodating to the guest experience as well as having a warm smile.

Highly recommend the lamb rack. I usually try to avoid restaurants in hotels as they are often overpriced. But the conservatory definitely worth trying, especially the lamb rack. I can never imagine lamb rack could be so juicy and tasty. Would come back again.

As a vegetarian choosing a dinner meal I opted for the Roasted carrots salad and quinoa pilaf. Looks were deceiving because they didn’t seem like much, other than just some carrots with fresh greens and quinoa and mushrooms with grated parmesan on top. However, I was pleasantly surprised that both dishes were more than ordinary; very fresh and delicious. I’m also glad that I made the last minute decision to order the salad as well for some extra greens to accompany my dinner. Sometimes it’s challenging as a vegetarian eating out, but these were a great pair for a well rounded meal with whole fresh ingredients.

Also to note; the quinoa pilaf description said it had pine nuts and pesto. This dish was very heavy on the mushrooms and I did not taste any pesto nor come across any pine nuts. It was delicious though and I felt better about it not having pesto, as pesto has a very high fat content.

Perhaps one of the only reasons for us to go to Half Moon Bay to eat. Undoubtedly, the Ritz Carlton is the purveyor of excellence. So it’s no surprise that the restaurants located in the hotel are also just as detail oriented and seek perfection before their guests do. The breathtaking views of the waves clashing against the rocks and perfectly manicured landscape embracing the hotel, are some of the features that will draw you back to this place.
Our waiter Alex, was so professional and attentive. The food except for the pumpkin soup (it was too sweet for my taste), had nice presentation and absolutely delicious. The menu although not big, but it offers something for everyone. If splurging is something you consider every now and then, this is the place to be, especially if you’re an avid golfer. Loved the experience.

This place is gorgeous!!! We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here and the food, service and atmosphere were incredible. They offer valet services if you have a reservation. The seating is also quick. If you specifically want to have the window seats, you'd have to make the request in advance by calling them.

The vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu. Lots of options and customization available. We tried the burger and ravioli. Both were delicious! We had to order a side of fries as the burger comes with salad as a default. The salad was also quite good.

The best part of our brunch was the Ritz Carlton chocolate decadent cake! The hint of orange makes it even more delicious. The wines are great and so is the cappuccino! Everything is amazing. 10/10 for large groups as well as small groups. I highly recommend trying it out!
